I am glad Palestine got their UN non member status despite threats and sanctions by the US and Israel but it my eyes it was the only thing they could do.

They had run out of options. The Intifada has obviously not worked and although worldwide public opinion had wildly swung behind their cause in recent years due to the Israeli’s blatant disregard of international law and actions that have disgusted people nothing had changed in the Palestinians favour whilst Israel continues it’s breaches of International law unabated.

Actions such as Operation Cast Lead, the ignored Goldstone Report, the Mavi Marmara assassinations (including of US citizens), the killing of peace demonstrators like Rachel Corrie and the recent attack on the blockaded Gaza.

These are all actions that instead of dividing and conquering, which was the aim when the Mossad set up Hamas to split the Palestinian resistance between Fatah and Hamas, has instead brought them back together over recent conflicts.

Whilst many people after the 2nd World War had sympathy with the Jewish Religion and their persecution that enabled them to enact out a self-fulfilling prophecy that saw Zionism break God’s covenant with real Judaism by using politics, bribery, the Balfour Declaration and the Treaty of Versailles to realise their dream.  A minority were not. Over the years a new generation without first hand knowledge of the World War II has grown up. They see things very differently from their predecessors.

Whilst our parents and grand fathers suffered the horrors of the biggest world wide killing spree ever known, our generation has grown up in peace and we hold people of all countries to the same standard of behaviour including the USA and Israel. We cry out loud when we see hypocrisy at hand.

We were the generation that broke US/UK support for the Apartheid state of South Africa and held Free Nelson Mandela concerts that saw an “ex terrorist” released from a quarter of century in prison to lead his country and change the US/UK stance on the horrible anti black South Africa state. We are all hoping that international condemnation of Israeli actions will do the same for the Palestinian people.

We are the generation that sees the hypocrisy of an International Criminal Court which members like the USA can just “opt out of” because they don’t want their killing squads, torture prisons, extraordinary rendition and drone strikes that kill more civilians than terrorists excused from international sanction whilst demanding it from other countries.

We are the generation that sees the outright double standards of the USA calling out other countries on “human right” abuses whilst they commit the same abuses in the name of “spreading democracy”.

We also realise that the “War on Terror” con has been a way to allow politicians at home to gain dictatorial powers including the power to assassinate at will, spy on their citizens without warrants and use super computers the size of cities to trawl through personal data looking for “signs” of “terrorist activity”. It is clear to us that the war on terror has been a massive fraud that has allowed our leaders to enact draconian policies at home that would otherwise cause outrage as the US constitution is flushed down the toilet.

And when it comes to Israel we are the generation that knows that the country in the desert DID have people living there before the Jews came after the war.

We also know that the IDF was born out of terrorist gangs like the Stern Gang and Irgun. Gangs that killed British soldiers and massacred Palestinians, driving them out their homes and refusing their return. Terrorist gangs that spawned some of the first leaders of Israel as well as the Israeli Defence Forces.

We see the two faced US UN ambassador claim on one hand we must intervene in Syria, Libya and Iran whilst ignoring the blatant massacres and human rights abuses in their allied countries of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and most importantly Israel. We know why they do it and we laugh when they accuse others of allowing crimes against humanity to continue whilst turning a blind eye to their own allies crimes.

Every time the US uses it’s veto in the Security council to prevent sanctions on Israel it dilutes any creditably they have when they attack Russia or China for doing the same with their own allies such as Syria. You cannot have it both ways Uncle Sam!

Now Palestine is a non member status we can expect sanctions, the expansion of illegal settlements and other acts illegal under international law but allowed because of the USA’s backing. Who is pulling the strings Israel or the USA and why does Obama not have the balls to stand up to Israeli behaviour now he doesn’t have to worry about election funding?

Anyone expecting Obama to stand up to AIPAC and the Israeli lobby and demand they move ahead with a proper peace process is likely to be disappointed.

Bibi and co probably have a book a foot wide of indiscretions Obama committed before gaining the highest office in the land and that is probably the reason America always seems to elect drug users, ex alcoholics and sexual deviants as President. They are all easily bribed.

We cannot expect the US to be a fair broker anymore in this age old conflict and despite what Zionists say the Palestinians had no other route to getting some form of resolution to their plight.

They are supposed to be agreeing final borders as defined in the Camp David and Oslo accords but Israel has delivered nothing to them but expanded illegal settlements and a giant wall blocking them from their neighbours as well as the illegal blockade of Gaza.

Likud, the ruling party of Israel is a right wing party that survives only on drumming up the thought of annihilation from non existent threats.

Without the existential threat of Iran being rammed down Israelis throats every day and the tit for tat skirmishes when Israel chose to kill the Hamas leader who brokered a cease fire just so that Hamas would retaliate and they could bomb the concentration camp of Gaza. This happened just before their next general elections and it is no surprise there but without this constant war footing there would be no need for these right wing nutters. Therefore it is in their interest to always exaggerate threats from abroad and claim the only way to defend themselves is by war not peace.

Israel has no-one to blame but themselves. It is their attitude and actions that has finally broken the straw and caused Palestine to go to the UN. If they truly wanted real peace and security they would have sat down and talk many years ago – however they were looking for any excuse not to go down this route.

If they want continual war, pariah status on the level of South Africa before the end of apartheid and even possible total destruction they are going about it the right way. The ball is in their court now if they really want peace they have every opportunity to show it to the world that is fastly turning against them.

Recently we have had Anonymous claim to have used the “Great Oz Firewall” to prevent Karl Rove and co steal the American election.

This was by blocking his own hack attempts into key computers in swing states such as Iowa and Florida to switch votes over from Obama to Romney as apparently happened in 2000 and 2004.

Apparently a “power cut” occurred at exactly the same time this year as it did in 2004 and allowed the company connected to the Republicans to hook into electronic voting machines and toggle votes over to from the Democratic candidate to his opponent i.e. George W Bush.

If these claims by Anonymous are true then it truly is a shocking indictment of US politics and elections and just shows that even in democracies elections can be stolen.

It would certainly explain Karl Roves outburst on FOX News when he couldn’t believe that Iowa had been declared so prematurely.

Was he expecting something to happen, a power cut maybe, one that maybe occurred but didn’t have the desired effect due to the Great OZ Firewall Anonymous claims to have introduced to prevent this from occurring?

This is what Anonymous said before the election and indicated that they were watching Karl Roves attempts to influence the outcome by vote switching.

Then the other day when Israel started Operation Pillar of Defense, their latest attack on Gaza, Anonymous claimed to have infiltrated Israeli computer systems.

This included stealing thousands of email addresses and passwords, hacking hundreds of Israeli Web sites including government-owned ones as well as privately owned pages. They also hacked Israeli databases belonging to the Bank of Jerusalem and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A quote from their report on their attack which can be read in full here says:

Let us once again be perfectly clear: Anonymous does not in any way support the use of violence. Anonymous is a world wide collective of individuals whose means pursue human rights, justice, and universal equality for the citizens of every nation.

Pro-Israeli groups throughout the world have grown from a foundation of Israeli/US propaganda and lies. They arbitrarily dismiss the apartheid system of racial segregation and oppression imposed by the Israeli government on the Palestinian people. The fact of the matter is, in the eyes of the media, only the United States and it’s allies are capable of labelling another state or organization as a terrorists.

Throughout our campaign, we’ve been inundated with one response in particular; references to Hamas hiding in school buildings or using women and children as human shields. Selective memory seems to have given pro-Israeli organizations the ability to forget that in 2005 Israeli Defence Minister Shaul Mofaz appeared in court to defend the practice of using Palestinians as human shields in combat after a supreme court outlawed the practice, noting it violated International Law.

The reasons for Anonymous intervention through #OpIsrael should be abundantly clear: What is happening in Palestine is oppression. They have no navy, no army, or air force. There is no war in Gaza. There is only the continuous application of military force by Israel in an attempt to push every last person out of the Palestinian state, despite international laws that make these efforts illegal.

Then we also learn that the Al-Quds Brigades’ intelligence apparatus was able on Saturday to penetrate 5000 mobile phones that belong to Zionist soldiers who are taking part in the offensive against Gaza, and send them warning messages in Hebrew that said:

“We will turn Gaza into a graveyard for your soldiers, and will turn Tel Aviv into flames (Al-Quds Brigades)“.

This faction further published files that belong to Zionist soldiers and that included important information (personal papers, names, birthdays, duties, private and work phone numbers, emails, jobs, positions, ID numbers, ages, and addresses). A scare tactic that is one of the few open to them at the moment as thousands of IDF troops amass on the border of Gaza ready to attack the population as they did in Operation Cast Lead.

It seems that whilst Israel and the USA can create the Stuxnet and Flame viruses to take out nuclear installations. The availability of easily downloadable hacking software gives even the smallest army or protest group the chance of fighting back, and anyone can help hack the “enemy” whoever they may be.

Warfare of every kind has truly been changed by the Internet.

I am guessing here, but as Israel launches another war on the blockaded Gaza I expect they thought they would have a different President in office.

Someone who Bibi got on a bit better with than Obama and someone who had probably already given him the green light to go ahead with Operation Pillar of Defense as soon as he won the Presidency.

This is the brilliant name they are calling their new onslaught on the cornered in population of Gaza. Cast Lead 2 – the Sequel could be another.

Maybe Obama gave him the same promise as well, I don’t know. The final televised debate was surely a blatant attempt by the two candidates to show Israel who loved them the most and history shows that it doesn’t matter who sits in the Oval Office they will always allow Israel to bomb, assassinate and kill their neighbours as they see fit whether they break international law or not, always backing them up in the UN with their veto if the rest of the world cries out in anger.

If anyone is holding any hope that Obama has any balls whatsoever to stand up to the Israeli lobby now that he doesn’t have to worry about their campaign financing for another election they will surely be disappointed. There is little difference in the Democratic or Republican party when it comes to areas of hypocrisy and warmongering.

However as I watched the news coverage last night something stuck in my mind that one of the presenters said.

As Israel killed 2 kids and called it “collateral damage” on the way to blowing up the chief military commander of Hamas, Ahmed Jabari, someone said – imagine if it was the other way round.

The USA wanted the Palestinians to have a democratic election and they did. They just didn’t like the outcome of it – democracy our way or none at all is their mantra.

However Hamas was democratically elected and is a political party. Therefore Ahmed Jabari, the head of Hamas military was killed yesterday, he was the direct equivalent of the Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak.

If Palestine is to become a proper nation, with borders then it is to have a police force as well as some form of defensive force. Whether we call Hamas freedom fighters or terrorists they are still the legitimate political rulers of Gaza and we all know that the IDF, the Israeli Defence Force was born out of terrorist gangs that killed British soldiers by assassinating soldiers and blowing up hotels. It seems as if it’s one rule for the Israeli’s and one for the Palestinians and they are not allowed to defend themselves in any shape or form.

We all know that it depends on your point of view whether a terrorist is a freedom fighter or vice versa as this article makes clear but just imagine if Hamas had killed Ehud Barak in the same way Israel had killed Ahmed Jabari.

How many Palestinians in Gaza would be left to tell the tale? Not many would be my guess.

Let’s imagine if Israel and the state of Palestine were actually your home

Let’s imagine for a minute that you were in the position of a Christian person whose family had lived in the land of Palestine for many generations over hundreds of years.

Now imagine that instead of Palestine it was the UK or the USA or Russia, wherever you are from.

How would you feel if one day you were made homeless, a refugee, kicked out of your home and forced to live in a neighbouring country all because a group of Muslim people turned up and claimed the land as theirs.

What if most of these people had never even lived in your country or stepped foot in it before that day.

Many of these people are shipped in from overseas, due to their own homes being lost after war but all of them claiming your land, your home in Arkansas, Kent or Moscow, as their ancestral birth right.

What if most of these people referred back to an ancient story that many people took as nothing more than a fairy tale that had been written down many thousands of years ago as the sole reason for their right to take to your land.

Just imagine if thousands of people kicked you out of your home claiming that because they believed in the tooth fairy or Santa Claus it gave them the right to remove you from your home.

You may laugh but there are many religions in this world that many people see this way. I have heard Christians mock Muslims for worshipping the moon and show disdain for Hinduism with their many God’s instead of their sole supreme creator. One man’s religion is often treated with contempt by other seemingly religious people.

So now you are homeless and forced to live in a squalid refugee camp where your home is only a distant memory.

Years and years of wars, negotiations and broken treaties pass without any change in your situation. All you want to do is return home but you are not allowed to because your old country is now considered the home of Muslims only.

Your leaders are given the choice to have your own country, which is a tiny fragmented fraction of the size it had once been. But as a pre-condition of doing so they must first renounce your right to return back to your home and swear an oath that your old home, where you once lived alongside people of many other religious faiths, was now only the home of Muslims.

You were never allowed to go home, even though international law states the right of any refugees to do so.

You were to give up any hope of seeing your old town, your old home and old freinds again because these people had claimed you had no right to the land your family had lived on for hundreds of years.

Would you allow your leaders to make that pact?

To give up any hope of returning to your ancestoral lands in return for a small piece of land that was now controlled entirely by your new masters.

I don’t think many people would yet this is what the pro-israeli lobby want the Palestinians to do when they say that the Palestinians must recognize Israel’s right to exist.

Many Palestinian leaders have already done this and many have explicitly stated the right for Israel (as a non religious state) to exist.

However what they cannot accept is the entirely Jewish nature of the state that means Christians and Muslims, Hindu’s and Atheists alike are conceptually (if not physically) treated as 2nd class citizens on their own land.

In my eyes having any country classified as a religious state of any kind, whether it be Islamic, Christian or Jewish, is inherently sectarian in nature.

Israel as a state has the right to exist because the UN granted it’s creation in 1947.

However I can see no logical argument that allows for someone like myself to convert to Judaism and then under the “right of return” laws that exist in Israel be granted an Israeli passport.

This means that I could go and live in Israel as a Jew, a country and land I have no link to, whilst people who had lived on that land for many centuries are prohibited from doing so.

Just imagine for a minute if you were a Palestinian refugee living in a camp in Lebanon or Jordan. Could you accept this trade off as part of the “peace process” that Israel insists on. To give up any hope of a return to your home so that foreigners with no link to the land apart from ancient stories and myths can call it home instead?

BBC Panorama show ducks the hard questions over Israel’s attack on the Gaza Flotilla

Last weeks BBC’s Panorama programme took a look at the recent Israeli flotilla attack which resulted in 9 people being killed and many more seriously injured.

I have attached the videos to the bottom of this article so that you can watch the show yourself if you haven’t already done so and then you can make up your own mind on whether this was a fair and balanced piece or rather a pro Israeli hit piece.

After watching the show last night it is very clear that it falls into the latter camp and it missed some very important points regarding the events from the night of the attack.

1. Why did the IDF release doctored video to the public which had been edited to paint members of the Flotilla as holocaust deniers who were gloating over 9/11. It has been proven that this video was a fake and the Panorama presenter mentioned this in parsing but there was no look at why the IDF created such propaganda if they had nothing to hide.

2. There was no mention of the assassination list that was found on the flotilla which had apparently been taken from one of the captured IDF soldiers. Why did the IDF have such a list and why did they have orders to kill those on the list.

3. The most important aspect which was missed from the TV show was the nature of the deaths. The autopsies show that many of the dead had multiple gun shot wounds in the back and in the head. The IDF claim that the fighting was at close quarters but this does not explain why some people were shot in the back. This also doesn’t explain the death of the 19 year old American Fulkan Dogan who was shot five times from less that 45cm, in the face, in the back of the head, twice in the leg and once in the back. The following video shows how the IDF beat and kicked this young man who was on the floor and posed no threat to them before callously murdering him:

This is murder and not self defence and whilst the IDF soldiers interviewed in the programme claim that they were fighting for their lives and only shot in self defence this video clearly refutes that claim. Panorama should have investigated these claims rather than taking the IDF’s excuses at face value. No matter what had happened earlier in the night this was a clear case of the Israeli’s assassinating someone who was in no position to defend himself.

Panorama should be ashamed of itself as it has proven to be nothing more than a convenient Israeli mouth piece and rather than take a fair and balanced view that looked at the difficult questions of Israeli cold blooded murder it instead spent the show trying to paint the Flotilla as having been overrun with Turkish terrorist sympathisers who were spoiling for a fight with the Israelis.

Maybe there were people on board who were spoiling for a fight and there were most definitley people on board who support Hamas and despise the Israeli occupation just like many people all across the world do. However we must always remember one thing when it comes to the Flotilla attack and that’s is the attack took place in International Waters.

Israel had no right under any national or international law to attack the Flotilla in the way it did and those on board had every right under international law to defend themselves. This was a clear cut case of piracy and Israel could have easily let the Flotilla enter Israeli territorial waters before trying to board which would have given their cause more legitimacy however they chose not to do this and therefore they are clearly in the wrong.

The hypocrisy of Israel over the Flotilla attack

In the few weeks since the attack on the flotilla by Israel I have talked to many people both online and offline about the event. I am from the UK and almost everyone here I can recall speaking to about this event has thought on similar lines in that:

– Israel was bang out of order attacking the peace flotilla in international waters and murdering those passengers on board. They broke international laws and showed a complete disregard to the wishes of the international community in their response to the outrage directed towards them afterwards.

– The government of Hamas as nasty as it is in all that it does to the people of Israel and it’s own citizens does not equate to the citizens of Gaza who are suffering immensely under the illegal blockade of their territory.

– Most importantly, they all thought that Israel would get away with it.

However people I have spoke to on the Internet who have mostly been American have taken a very stridently pro-Israeli view. They believe:

– Israel had every right to invade the flotilla even though it was in international waters.

– That the whole purpose of the flotilla was not to bring aid to the people of Gaza but to smuggle weapons into Gaza to be used by Hamas.

– That those on board were terrorists, Hamas sympathisers and enemies of Israel.

– That the blockade of Gaza is justified and that Israel has the right to do whatever it takes to enforce it’s own security. It seems to these people that the suffering of a million people is justified if it stops just one rocket into Israel.

I have been called a terrorist enabler, a supporter of Hamas and an anti-semite for believing as millions of others do that Israel was in the wrong when it attacked the flotilla. Even though all of these claims are logically false they are to be expected from those who have abandoned truth, logic and the rule of law a long time ago.

I don’t know if the immense support those people in America give Israel, no matter what crimes it commits, are more to do with their Christian belief in the end times and biblical phrophecy, a hatred of all peoples with darker skin and Muslim sounding names, or just very cold hearts who cannot comprehend the outrageous hypocrisy involved in their support for Israel.

They don’t seem able to differentiate between Hamas and the people of Gaza and believe all the propoganda and lies that are disseminated about the conflict. One such claim which has been doing the rounds on the internet lately is that the people of Gaza didn’t even require any of the aid that the flotilla was bringing due to the “fact” that Israel generously allows all the humanitarian aid that their terrorist hearts could possibly desire into the open air prison at times of their own choosing.

Forget that Israel only allows a paltry 100 different food types in and that medicine is scarce and that 90% of the houses and offices destroyed during operation cast lead have still not been rebuilt due to Israel’s refusal to allow any forms of building materials in. No life in Gaza is just thriving and the people are just happy smiling faces who enjoy their suffering at the hands of the Israelis.

It truly is a case of small minds and cold hearts and in the same way as those people who have never seen true violence are so eager to go to war, the comfortable and well off who only see the world in terms of black and white believe everyone in Gaza is a Hamas terrorist or supporter who deserves everything they get.

In the same way as a bullied child often turns into  bully it seems Israel has taken the abuse it suffered from the 30’s and earlier and then passed it down the line to the Palestinians. However in the same way that a rapist who was also abused as child is not excused their own crimes Israel should not be given a free pass due to its own past suffering.

We supposedly live in a world that is ruled by law. If the law is not obeyed by all then it’s not a fair world and those that live above the law are destined to be punished when those below finally overcome them.

In the same way that a well connected politician often escapes a harsh court sentence due to favours being called upon Israel seems to always escape any form of censure or punishment due to it’s own nefarious connections and bribes. It is no wonder that a large portion of the world see’s Israel and it’s enabler the USA in such a dark light.

Let’s carry out a thought experiment and swap the players around and see whether the outrage being directed as Israel is deserved or not.

What would the response be if President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Iran had done the following:

– Attacked a flotilla of western owned boats that were full of Christian Peace Activists hoping to bring aid, medicine and building supplies to the opponents of last years presidential elections results who are trying to overthrow the legitimate government of Iran.

-The attack was carried out in international waters and therefore legally the territories of England, France and Canada who the ships belonged do were attacked by proxy.

-During the attack Iran executed a number of the activists and injured many others. This was not only witnessed by many but caught on camera and proved by autopsy reports.

-After the attack, the revolutionary guards and Iranian members of parliament initiated a world wide propaganda campaign to excuse their actions. They leaked false reports about members of the flotilla being Christian extremists and terrorists who were trying to smuggle rockets and firearms into Iran. They released doctored video and audio evidence that had been tampered to make the activists sound like racists and they destroyed all the laptops, cameras and videos that had been made by the activists that showed evidence to the contrary.

-In the face of international outrage a the incident Iran just said “we have a right to defend ourselves from terrorist attack” and ignored all requests for an impartial and independent inquiry into the attacks to to be held.

-Not happy with the world being outraged the Iranians started to pull strings and their lobbies around the world started to call in favours. The bought and paid for United States Congress, which Iran basically controlled through it’s Iranian American Public Relations Agency, started a campaign to get  a bill passed in the house to support Iran’s right to defend itself and to label the flotilla organisers as terrorists.

-The countries who had supported the flotilla which included the UK and Canada were to be publicly derided on the Iranian controlled news channels within the USA and the members of parliament in the UK and Canada who had raised questions in their respective parliaments about the attack were to have their honour and integrity brought into question for daring to question Iran’s right to defend itself.

Add to this recent attack the following:

-Iranian agents murdered a CIA operative in a hotel room in Dubai and used stolen USA passports to carry out the attack putting the holders of those passports lives in danger.

-Iran also has over 150+ nuclear weapons but refuses to acknowledge this fact. When the international community try to engage Iran to help remove all nuclear weapons from the region they are ignored.

-Iran is found to be at the top of the league of countries who are involved in spying within the borders of the USA. Not only are high profile Iranian agents often discovered and jailed but Iran is thought to be able to access the telecommunication networks within the White House and other government buildings at will due to the companies who run those systems being of Iranian origin.

-Not only can Iran listen in to high level conversations on demand it is known to have control over many members of congress due to blackmail and is able to effect government decisions as if it were the government itself.

It wouldn’t happen would it?

You would be outraged. There were be war cries all around the globe and the forces of the combined western nations involved in the attack would already be forming for an attack on Iran.

So why is it that one nation can do all of the above with impunity whilst others wouldn’t dare?

I know the answer and it’s one shared by a growing number. The answer is they shouldn’t. What I still cannot understand is why some people still believe they can.

Israeli racism and hypocrisy

So just to recap for anyone who has been asleep for the last fortnight:

Israel has basically attacked Turkey, a NATO country, by illegally attacking a Turkish boat in international waters. The Mavi Marmara was full of peace activists who were trying to break the illegal blockade of Gaza by bringing much needed aid, medicine and building supplies into the port of Gaza by sea.

Israel had no right to invade this boat in international waters. No matter how much it claims it has the right to defend itself which is not in dispute this was NOT an act of defense but rather attack.

Under international law the people on board the flotilla had every right to sail to Gaza to deliver their aid which had been inspected at numerous ports on route to ensure the contents did not contain weapons or other contraband. Israel does not own the high seas and as it has withdrawn from Gaza it has no moral or legal right to dictate who enters that part of the Palestinian authority by sea.

Even their blockade of over land routes into Gaza has been condemned as a breach of International law and on a moral level they are punishing a million or so people who dared to vote into power Hamas in an election.

Also under International law the occupants of the Mari Marmara had every legal right to defend their ship from the illegal act of piracy that Israel engaged in and anyone who claims that they should have just sat back and
allowed the IDF commandos to carry on executing those on board without defending themselves needs their head examined.

Israel claimed in the propaganda onslaught they engaged in afterwards that their IDF soldiers only shot in self defence however we know this is lies for the following reasons:

1. We have numerous eye witness accounts that Israeli soldiers shot and killed people on board before invading the ship including this Al Jazeera reporter Jamal Elshayyal.

Also we have the first hand account from ex US marine Ken O’Keefe who personally overpowered and disarmed 2 Israeli commandos who he had witnessed executing two fellow passengers:

This was a forcible, non-negotiable, separation of weapons from commandos who had already murdered two brothers that I had seen that day. One brother with a bullet entering dead center in his forehead, in what appeared to be an execution.

I knew the commandos were murdering when I removed a 9mm pistol from one of them. I had that gun in my hands and as an ex-US Marine with training in the use of guns it was completely within my power to use that gun on the commando who may have been the murderer of one of my brothers. But that is not what I, nor any other defender of the ship did. I took that weapon away, removed the bullets, proper lead bullets, separated them from the weapon and hid the gun. I did this in the hopes that we would repel the attack and submit this weapon as evidence in a criminal trial against Israeli authorities for mass murder. I also helped to physically separate one commando from his assault rifle, which another brother apparently threw into the sea.

We also have the assassination list that was found on board, probably taken from the pocket of one of those IDF soldiers that had been overpowered and then taken inside to be treated by the doctors on board whilst they apparently cried for their Mums. This list contained photos of the “leaders” of the flotilla who were to be taken out during the raid.

One of these assassinations was actually caught on camera and you can see below the execution of 19 year-old Turkish-American high school student Furkan Dogan who was beaten to the floor, kicked and stamped upon before being shot dead at close range.

Where is the outage America ? How can you allow one of your own citizens to be executed like this in cold blood.

It’s not the first time that America has stood by whilst it’s close ally has murdered it’s citizens at sea. During the 1967 war Israel deliberately attacked the USS Liberty killing 37 crew members in an attack that was covered up by the then president Lyndon Johnson who ordered subsequent inquries to conclude that it was an accident.

In one of the earliest known false flag attacks committed by Israel the attack was carried out by unmarked planes and the aim was to sink the boat killing all on board and then blame the attack on Eygpt to then drag the USA into the war on Israel’s side. They might have succeded to if it hadn’t of been for the survivors who managed to request air force backup from the nearby USS Saratoga only to have the fighters called back three times by both the Secreatary of Defense and the President himself. You see when it comes down to a choice between Israel and American citizens you just know which way your leaders turn.

Not only did Israel carry out a war crime in a similar way to the USS Liberty on the Mavi Marmara it tried to cover it up afterwards by releasing fake reports, doctored evidence and edited audio and video.

Not only did the IDF have to retract an earlier claim that the flotilla was full of Al Qaeda terrorists. The photos of the “weapons haul” found on board the Mavi Marmara was found to be nothing more than the sort of equipment you would expect to find on a boat of it’s size. Certainly no rockets, guns or grenades were found.

Then we had the faked audio which was released on the IDF’s own website which tried to portray the flotilla crew as racists, Nazi’s and supporters of the 9/11 attacks.

The original video is a conversation between a member of the Israeli Navy talking to the Captain of the Mavi Marmara in which he asked for the flotilla to cease it’s path and allow Israel to deliver the goods into Gaza themselves.

The faked audio has had 3 responses dubbed into it. One of the responses says “Go back to Auschwitz” and the other says something about 9/11. The womens voice that can be heard is also fake as the the person the voice belonged to was actually on another boat that night so couldn’t have replied in the suggested manner.

To top this off we now have the following compilation video which supposedly lists a number of faked incidents from aboard the Mavi Marmara that night including inserted computer graphics of activists throwing grenades down onto an Israeli boat and a man who walks straight through a steel bar on the deck of the boat as if it wasn’t there.

Some of the other claims of fakery in the film are I think unfounded as we have eye witness accounts from people on board that they used water hoses to prevent Israeli troops from boarding as well as metal poles and sticks to hit the IDF Commandos with but that doesn’t negate other examples of computer wizardry when found.

The final piece of evidence to emerge that topped it all off and absolutely refuted all Israeli claims of self defence 100% was the autopsy report on the 9 dead bodies that was released last week. This showed that the 9 dead men had a total of 30 bullets in them and that 5 of them had died from shots to the head. A number of the victims had been shot in the back which means they couldn’t have been attacking the soldier who killed them, add to that the 19 year old who we witnessed earlier being executed who was killed by being shot five times from less that 45cm, in the face, in the back of the head, twice in the leg and once in the back.

How these wounds can be described as wounds inflicted by a soldier who was fearing for his life I do not know but the Israeli’s tried and a large portion of the dumbed down American population lapped it all up without even a questionable thought entering their minds.

From a legal point of view Israel is definitley 100% in the wrong having breached numerous international laws and treaties by attacking the Turkish owned boat in international waters. If this had been Iran who had attacked and then murdered a number of American citizens we would already be at war but then this is Israel the one country in the world who can act with impunity, take the flack and just not care about how the rest of the world views them for behaving this way.

Let us not forget as well that if it had been an Israeli boat attacked by Iran, Turkey or anyone else the situation would have been totally different as in the worlds eyes anything that Israel can claim is linked to its own security seems to give them a get out of jail free card and the rules that would normally apply get thrown out the window along with any regard to international law or sentiment.

Let us not forget the history of Israel which is steeped in blood and terror right from the beginning. Israel was happy to denounce all those on board as terrorists and terrorist enablers but let us not forget that Hamas is fighting for their homeland which has been stolen from them in the same way as the early Israeli terrorist groups the Stern Gang, Irgun and Haganah blew up buildings, terrorised the community and kidnapped and murdered British soldiers in the belief they were fighting for their homeland.

Let us not forget also that Hamas was actually helped into existence by the Israeli Mossad to act as a counter balance to Fatah and to get the Palestinians fighting amongst themselves. Looks like their plan of divide and conquer has worked a little too well.

Then we have the hypocrisy over nuclear weapons. Israel is the only country in the region who has nuclear weapons but refuses to sign the nuclear non proliferation treaty. It pretends to be concerned about the spread of the nuclear weapons but at the same time it has just been revealed that during the 1970’s Shimon Peres offered to sell the racist South African regime nuclear weapons in 3 sizes. Not only does it refuses to abide by the same rules that the rest of the worlds nuclear powers follow it is the only country who has threatened to use nukes on another country in an act of naked aggression.

Not only does Israel not mind the spread of nuclear technology when it is doing the spreading it refuses to allow any contenders within the region from establishing any semblance of a nuclear energy programme. Not only did it blow up Saddam Hussein’s nuclear reactor in the 80’s it is trying to push the world to act against Iran who is developing it’s own perfectly legal nuclear energy programme. No matter how much hysteria and propaganda Israel pushes into the media about Iran there has yet to be any proof to the claims that Iran is developing nuclear weaponry and the IAEE has repeatedly investigated and reported that no evidence exists of a nuclear programme.

Israel, home of the Jewish people, is supposedly a haven where people who have a history of discrimination and race hatred directed at them can live free from abuse. However Israel’s own history is one littered with associations with racists regimes from it’s secret deals with the Nazi’s during the second world war to help fight the British to it’s alliance with the racist South African apartheid regime when the whole world was making a stand against them. It’s own internal apartheid system treats Palestinians in the occupied territories as second class citizens who are denied access to the same roads and towns as Israeli’s and who are forced to survive in a form of limbo between nations and with little hope of a better future.

If your unlucky enough to be a Muslim and live in Palestine or Israel then life isn’t going to be much fun.

Not only is Israel buying up as much property in East Jerusalem as possible and evicting the Arab occupants so that it can turn the Palestinians intended capital into a Jewish enclave they are also digging up ancient Muslim cemeteries so that they can build museums dedicated to tolerance.

Yes in the hypocritical twilight world that is Israel tolerance is for the Jews only.

We must tolerate their own inherent racism and prejudices against Goyim, Palestinians, Christians and Muslims a like.

We must tolerate their extreme warmongering policies that drag others into the Middle East to fight their wars for them.

We must tolerate their underhand methods that involve subtefuge, lies, assassination and their policy of attack first ignore questions later.

We must tolerate their right to self defense that is actually not that at all but rather a desire to oppress a whole population because they cannot tolerate living alongside each other.

We must tolerate their intransigence as they continue to ignore Palestinian overtures of peace as well as demands from the international community because it helps foster an internal “them versus us” attitude that enables Benji, Livni and the others to continually claim that any rebukes for their latest crimes are actually signs of a new rise in anti-semitism and therefore can be safely ignored.

Yes we are being asked to tolerate a lot and it seems Israel is very happy to stick two fingers up at the world and continue on it’s merry way of killing, oppression and propaganda.

When one realises the amount of fake and edited news footage that Israel put out after the flotilla attack to try to distort public opinion away from a slaughter of innocents to a legitamite act of self defence how can we ever again trust news stories linked to Israel about Bin Laden living in Iran.

Not only does this story sound fake from a cursory view including that Bin Laden is reported to have died in 2001, that Al Qaeda a Sunni group is diametrically apposed to the Iranian Shias, that Iran has been fighting Al Qaeda itself and that most of all Israel is just itching for an excuse to attack the country. What better way than to convince the dumbed down Americans that their biggest baddy is hiding out in their favourite outlaw state.

You just couldn’t make it up. The problem is that Israel can and does.

Israeli claims of a terrorist Armada start to fall apart

First we had the highly edited video from the IDF helicopters that showed its meek and defenceless soldiers being attacked as they invaded the Mavi Marmara.

Then we had Israeli cabinet members trotted out on TV networks around the world to claim the Freedom Flotilla was really a terrorist armada full of Hamas supporters and even Al Qaeda death squads.

Not to mention the “fact” that the flotilla was really just cover for a massive haul of illegal weapons and rockets to be used by Hamas on innocent Israelis.

Oh and lest we forget that they also claimed that the aid on board destined for Gaza wasn’t even needed and that the people of that well known open prison camp got all the food, medicine and building materials their hearts could desire through the Israeli controlled border crossings.

Then it all fell apart.

Live video footage shot from aboard the flotilla showed the situation unfolding in real time. Shots rang out before the IDF boarded the boats. At least one member had been killed and the white flag of surrender was already up but the IDF just kept on shooting. The protesters only had sticks, poles and knives so the gunfire we could all hear had to have come from the IDF.

The massive haul of illegal arms we were all told about turned out to be nothing more than a ramshackle collection of knives, metal bars and poles. Every item was something you would expect to find on a ship that carried hundreds of people. These boats have kitchens don’t you know.

Then the protesters were released and told their side of the story. The beatings, the bags over the heads, the deaths. It wasn’t pretty by any means.

Then the claims about terrorist cells fell apart. Lia Tarachansky, a journalist from the The Real News Network, rang up the IDF and asked them about their press release which carried the bold headline: “Attackers of the IDF soldiers found to be Al Qaeda mercenaries.”

She is told by an Army spokesperson that “We don’t have any evidence. The press release was based on information from the [Israeli] National Security Council.”

Then to cap it all off the autopsies from the 9 confirmed dead are realised which show that the “self defence” claims were a pack of lies unless the IDF were defending themselves by shooting their victims multiple times in the back and head at close range. One bullet is never enough to ward off an angry attacker, no four or five should do it. Why shoot someone in the legs when you can double tap them in the head?

The day is only young and I am expecting more Israeli claims to unravel by the seams before its out.

The bodies don’t lie, the truth is out, Israel shot to kill not in self defence

It has taken almost a week but the truth about the Israeli raid in international waters on the Freedom Flotilla has finally got out.

We need to ignore the high feelings on both sides, the biased press statements by government ministers or members of the flotilla, the edited video footage realised by the IDF and the laughable “haul” of weapons recovered from the ships.

Also forget about the underlying reasons for the flotilla, the illegal blockade of Gaza, the immense suffering of the people in that open prison camp as well as the suffering of Israelis who occasionally have rockets randomly fired at them.

To get to the truth of the Flotilla attacks we must ignore anything that can be misconstrued, embellished, or laden with political bias and personal opinion. This does not leave us with much but it does leave us with one thing apart from the bare naked breach of international law carried out by Israel when it attacked the Flotilla in international waters.

We now have the autopsy reports from the bodies of the 9 dead activists confirmed dead and it is not pretty reading.

These 9 people were not shot in self defence they were executed.

You do not have clean shots between the eyes or multiple shots to the back of the head at close range if you are shooting in self defence as it has been claimed by the Israelis.

These 9 bodies have over 30 bullets in them.

A 60-year-old man, Ibrahim Bilgen, was shot four times in the temple, chest, hip and back.

A 19-year-old, named as Fulkan Dogan, who also has US citizenship, was shot five times from less that 45cm, in the face, in the back of the head, twice in the leg and once in the back.

Two other men were shot four times

Five of the victims were shot either in the back of the head or in the back.

If you are shooting in self defence you do not shoot someone in the back. If they are not facing you they are not attacking you.

These bullet holes suggest that earlier claims of an assassination list which was supposedly left behind by an IDF soldier and found on board the Mavi Marmara may have been correct after all.

Obviously the IDF has denied all this and continues with their laughable excuse that their brave heroic armed to the teeth soldiers only shot in self defence and that it was the “peace” activists who were the instigators of the violence.

This of course is all propaganda and spin just like the heavily edited videos released by the IDF which show the invading soldiers being fought off by members of the flotilla. This proof, if any were needed, was trumpeted by those blindly in love with Israel as being the beginning and the end of the matter.

How dare these protesters try to fight off an illegal attack by the IDF in international waters.

How dare these well armed terrorists use improvised weaponry to protect themselves after one of their fellow crew had already been killed BEFORE the paratroopers tried to invade.

How dare anyone even dispute the honourable and highly trustworthy word of the Israeli government.

A country that has already refused the UN’s request to hold an independent inquiry into the attack.

A country that wants to attack Iran for having nuclear weapons (unproven) but who refuses to admit to its own huge nuclear arsenal and who refuses to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty themselves.

A country that has also just recently refused to attend a conference aimed at reducing nuclear weapons in their part of the world.

A country that has a long history of ignoring and breaking UN resolutions.

A country that has a long history of breaking international law, assassinating opponents wherever they find them, kidnapping journalists who write about them and using subterfuge and false flag attacks to get others to do their dirty work for them.

And a country who in all probability would rather continue with the current Palestinian situation rather than attempt any meaningful solution as it helps strengthen the “them and us” attitude that has led us to this point in time.

We live in a world of laws that all must obey. When one group of people feel that they are above the law and don’t have to play by the same rules as everyone else then there is an unnatural imbalance that leads to resentment, feelings of superiority and massive acts of hypocrisy.

Israel is one of these groups. No other country in recent times has consistently shown such disdain for the wishes of the international community and ignored so many international laws and rulings. The excuse of anti-semitism, ancient or semi-recent history or the threat of terrorism cannot be used constantly to cover up or excuse their misdeeds and it seems the world is slowly waking up to this fact.

Yes the Jewish people have had a hard time over the centuries however we cannot forget that to be Jewish is not to be black, white, English or African it is a religion that has chosen to be followed. No matter how much Zionism confused the matter in the 19th century to be a Jew is to be someone who follows the law as laid out in the Torah. Even I as a devout atheist could become Jewish if I wanted to put the time in studying the Torah and then once converted due to the Law of Return I would be able to obtain Israeli citizenship and then live in that part of the world as if my ancestors had walked with Abraham.

Is it really right and fair that Palestinians, people who have lived in that part of the world for hundreds if not thousands of years are treated as second class citizens whilst rich Jews from around the world who have literally no ties to that part of the world can just waltz into Israel and act as if they own the place?

It is this fundamental lunacy that I believe is at the center of the Middle Eastern situation. If the Jewish people realised that they are not the “chosen people”, they are not even a “people” just a religion and then maybe other people will start to see that it is just another meaningless label that we attach ourselves with and not some racial trait that some wish to exterminate. On a genetically level they are no different to Palestinians or Iranians and therefore the differences between these sworn enemies are just artificial barriers put up by choice and not necessity.

I truly believe that only with the end of Israel and Palestine and the creation of a secular democratic state in their place in which all current occupants of that land can live together on equal footing will these troubles end. However until that time we must start to hold Israel to account for it’s actions and no longer tolerate it’s refusal to obey international laws.

This can start with a full independent investigation into the Freedom Flotilla attacks carried out by the UN itself and if fault is found on the part of the Israelis then international arrest warrants should be issued and enforced. Anything less would be a signal to Israel that yet again the international power-brokers are tolerating their behaviour.

The autopsies are out and the bodies from the Mavi Marmara are now telling their side of the story, we must listen to them.

Israeli officers get ’slap on wrist’ for white phosphorus use in Gaza

Israel has reprimanded two senior army officers who were responsible for firing white phosphorus artillery shells at a UN compound during last year’s offensive in Gaza.

In the first admission of any wrongdoing the Israeli military found that Brigadier-General Eyal Eisenberg and Colonel Ilan Malka were guilty “of exceeding their authority in a manner that jeopardised the lives of others”.

The Israeli report was in response to a damning UN investigation into the Gaza war, which concluded that both Israel and Hamas, the Palestinian group, had committed war crimes and possible crimes against humanity and which called on both sides to investigate the conduct of their forces.

An Israeli defence official said that its internal investigation could lead to further disciplinary action against soldiers involved in the 22-day offensive. The two officers disciplined yesterday were served a mild reprimand and had a “note” placed in their personal files noting their involvement. One defence official described the punishment as a “slap on the wrist.”
