This is what I mean when I stated in my last article that we are hypocritical when it comes to our treatment of Saudi Arabia in relation to ISIS.

Saudi Arabia, has decided to lash a woman 200 times for being gang-raped by seven men. Her actual crime was leaving her house, thus making being gang-raped her own fault, – Gang Raped Saudi Woman Sentenced to 200 lashes, 6 months in jail.

Two “Islamic States”, one gets massive arms supplies, Royal visits and ignored when it comes to their human right abuses. Whilst the other gets bombed and denounced as terrorists for doing the same thing in a cruder manner.

Whilst I have no problem admitting these evil ISIS bastards are terrorists. We must remember that we helped create them with our divide and conquer strategy in the Middle East that seems to be for the Greater Israel project.

Keep the enemy fighting amongst themselves whilst Israel expands and Bibi gets standing ovations at Congress for denouncing Iranian bomb making that is based on flimsy evidence at best, on top of a whole lot of lies and ignored data from reputable Atomic inspectors and agencies.

It seems as if the Israeli PM is more concerned about a non factual threat from Iran, whilst sitting on a whole pile of nuclear weapons that could destroy the Middle East himself, than the threat of ISIS on his door. Why?

Why would the Israelis who were so concerned about al-Qaeda not feel the threat of ISIS on their borders and concentrate instead on Iranian bomb making.

Here we have 3 Islamic States all being treated differently because of what they CAN do for their allies, and who they are allied to, rather than their actual potential threat to the outside world.

If we had to order the three by the amount of death and evil they have done to the world then Saudi Arabia, Israel’s ally against Iran and funder of terrorism around the world including 9.11 would surely sit at the top and Iran at the bottom.

The Saudi’s practise a form of 18th century Wahhabist Islam that the European Parliament in 2013 labelled as the main source of global terrorism.

This brutal form of anti Shi’ite Islamic brutality has even led to attacks on American citizens on their homeland. In fact entire sections of the 9.11 commission report was blacked out keeping Saudi Arabia’s name from their findings.

“The Saudis deny any role in 9/11, but the CIA in one memo reportedly found “incontrovertible evidence” that Saudi government officials — not just wealthy Saudi hardliners, but high-level diplomats and intelligence officers employed by the kingdom — helped the hijackers both financially and logistically. The intelligence files cited in the report directly implicate the Saudi embassy in Washington and consulate in Los Angeles in the attacks, making 9/11 not just an act of terrorism, but an act of war.”

“The findings, if confirmed, would back up open-source reporting showing the hijackers had, at a minimum, ties to several Saudi officials and agents while they were preparing for their attacks inside the United States. In fact, they got help from Saudi VIPs from coast to coast.“

This can only be down to the close relationship between ex Saudi US ambassador, Prince Bandar and the Bush clan that prevented the natural course of a post 9.11 war on the real attackers, Saudi Arabia and their white washing from the attacks.

According to the official conspiracy theory, 15 of the hijackers were Saudi, with Saudi financing and Saudi help according to the leaked sections from the 28 full pages of the 800 page 9/11 commission report that were classified due to George W Bush’s say so.

Where 7,200 words once stood in the 9/11 commission report there are now just dots where a huge section related to the involvement of Saudi Arabia in the attacks were laid out.

“A pair of lawmakers who recently read the redacted portion say they are “absolutely shocked” at the level of foreign state involvement in the attacks.”

So why didn’t we see Saudi Arabia burned to a crisp rather than two unrelated countries that seemed to only further US and Israeli geopolitical goals?

Could it be the Bandar-Bush close ties or as some say “terrorist network”, that kept Saudi Arabia’s name from the report, despite their deep involvement in the killing of thousands of American citizens.

I keep being reminded of ex Mossad agent, Victor Ostrovsky in his book “By Way of Deception”, named after the Mossad Motto, when he repeats what he was told was the future of Saddam Hussein in the Middle East.

“After the bombing of Libya, our friend Qadhafi is sure to stay out of the picture for some time. Iraq and Saddam Hussein are the next target. We’re starting now to build him up as the big villain. It will take some time, but in the end, there’s no doubt it’ll work.”

“But isn’t Saddam regarded as moderate toward us, allied with Jordan, the big enemy of Iran and Syria?”

It seems as if the Israeli’s are up to their old tricks again regarding Syria and Iran using proxies such as ISIS to do their fighting for them plus of course the axis of war, the US/UK, who think they can win wars by bombing from planes.

In reality many people think this war from the air is an excuse to supply ISIS with weapons to keep the war going. Numerous papers have reported on this.

Here is the Washington Post trying to excuse the dropping of weapons to ISIS by saying it was an accident.

We can’t have the war on terror ending too soon can we! Not when the militarisation of our police forces at home isn’t yet complete and we still have a few liberties left.

Remember this war on terror was because we had to fight these evil terrorists who hated our freedoms.

Doesn’t anyone think it strange we have lost more freedoms in the years since this war started than in any time before. Even when the IRA was at war with us for 30+ years we didn’t give up our liberties at home.

It was only with the installation of MI5 mole Tony Blair in the Labour party, who brought it so far into the centre ground that there was hardly any difference between it and the Tories, that we started handing our freedoms over on a plate and misusing them, such as Gordon Brown using anti-terrorism laws to freeze Icelandic money in UK banks after their financial crash.

I think the only left-wing party left with any MP’s in the UK parliament is the Green Party who has one! All the rest are pro-war, pro-austerity, pro-US foreign policy and pro-globalist.

So whilst Saudi Arabia is allied with Israel due their common hatred of Iran, the ISIS terrorists that Iran are actually doing the main fighting against along with the Kurds are being built up as the next big bogey man we should attack.

A repeat of Mossads built up of Saddam Hussein as the big bogey man so that their “big brother” could beat it up in the school playground years before.

If ISIS don’t attack Israel with all their weapons, money from oil sales to western companies, supplies from the US/UK and a supposedly rabid fundamentalist approach to Islam then something is very strange!

Either it’s due to factions within Saudi Arabia that are still financing them and commanding them not to disturb their Israeli ally or the Israeli’s have some kind of control over the group.

Even al-Qaeda made repeated calls to annex the evil Zionist state but I have been dearth of hearing anything of that kind from the head of Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Are Mossad following their motto “by way of deception” or is something else going on?

Whether you like Russell Brand or not I would urge you to subscribe to the Trews YouTube channel to hear his point of view. Whether you agree or disagree with him on various matters it is always good to get alternative points of views on important matters.

In the video at the bottom of the page Russell Brand dissects the recent upgrading of the terror threat in the UK. This was due to the beheading of a US journalist by a man with a UK accent.

As he rightly says, Saudi Arabia has beheaded numerous people since August the 4th yet we continue to sell weapons and do big business with that Islamic State. If the man had a Saudi accent it probably wouldn’t have made the news like the many beheadings that happen all the time in that terror state.

Why is it that we don’t stop our relationships with such counties as Saudi Arabia and Qatar and others that fund the these terrorist groups that David Cameron wants more working class English and American people to go and fight.

Remember just months ago our leaders were saying that the enemy was President Assad of Syria and our governments were supporting, funding and arming groups that were fighting his government.

Now that these groups have crossed the border into Iraq and become ISIS they suddenly become the enemy. People who were “bravely” fighting Assad are now “terrorists”. Groups we trained and armed are now in Iraq causing havoc under the banner of the Islamic State.

As Russell Brand rightly says. For people like millionaire David Cameron, and his fellow Etonion friends, who are directors and shareholders in arms companies and other businesses who benefit from wars, to tell us to fight another war is hypocritical.

For Cameron to lecture us that we must go over to Iraq and lose more freedoms and liberties at home due to another UK/US foreign policy that has gone awry, just like the arming of the Mujahideen in Afghanistan who then became the Taliban and al-Qaeda, is pure bullshit.

He isn’t going to go an fight for his belief that we must go to war with ISIS.

No it will be the poor, working classes, who join the army as the only way out of communities that have been decimated by Tory policies, that will be doing the fighting for him. When our leaders send their own sons and daughters to war zones and don’t skip military service like many US Presidents or politicians have, then we can look at them with more respect when it comes to war.

Chicken Hawks telling me that I must go and fight for their own foreign policy blowbacks can fuck off and fight themselves. I am tired of people who haven’t seen real violence telling people who have to go and fight. When you have heard a knife enter a body, the sound and memory stays with you forever. When you have killed another human being it stays with you.

This is why so many ex-generals and military leaders are against war whilst people who have never been in one are for them.

The millions of people who marched against the war in Iraq through London a decade ago knew that war wasn’t the answer. Some people, like Tony Blair and David Cameron, still claim that our interference in the region, in Iraq, Iran and Syria hasn’t led to this creation of the monster called ISIS or Islamic State, they are blatantly wrong.

The only solution to a regional crisis such as the formation of the Islamic State has to come from the region itself, without us sending more troops to the region. We can help by stopping our crusades on former leaders who were our friends only a few years ago and instead attacking the real enemies in the region such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar who are funding these terrorist groups.

Here are just a few ideas for how regional countries could help.

Israel could do itself a massive PR job favour and use it’s massive armed forces to attack ISIS instead of Palestinians for instance. The US has spent billions giving Israel tons of fighter planes, missile systems and other arms. Why can’t Israel see the real terror on it’s borders rather than the poor, malnourished, suffering people of Gaza, and do the world a favour by going after them instead?

Iran could be allowed to help Iraq, along with Assad, to form a pincer movement on ISIS for instance. We could help by stopping to claim Assad is a war criminal without facts and remember our leaders used to have dinner with the same people we are now trying to remove e.g Assad and former leaders Gaddafi and Saddam Hussein.

If we stopped labeling Iran and Syria as the enemy and realised that they could actually be the solution to a problem we caused then they could become rehabilitated members of the international community again.

And most of all we need to realise that countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar are funding and arming these groups whilst we make billions from arms sales to these countries.

Let’s remember that if the US Government’s story of what happened on 9.11 is correct. Then the people who attacked the country was Saudi Arabia not Afghanistan or Iraq.

Logically the US should have gone to war with this despot backward 7th century country, where people are beheaded or mutilated daily as punishment for crimes we don’t even send people to prison for.

A country where thousands of Princes and Royal members live a life of luxury, holiday in Dubai, send for models to have sex with or pay millions to have famous pop stars sing at their parties. All whilst the majority of the population live in absolute poverty.

This was the country the US should have attacked if the US conclusions on who the terrorists on 9.11 were was correct.

However that would have meant the Bush family falling out with their favourite despots, Bandar-Bush incorporated has been causing havoc for years. The Bushes and the leaders of Saudi Arabia were too closely linked and yet the US claimed 19 Saudi hijackers were behind the 9.11 attacks. Hypocrites and liars.

Remember this was not a land without people for a people without a land. This was a land full of people that were kicked out, massacred and murdered by the Zionists in their quest for a homeland.

We had no right to give the land of Palestine to the Jews after World War II.

In fact as the Jewish people were maltreated, discriminated against and even killed throughout western Europe throughout the years the Middle East was one of the few places the Jews had no problem living in.

There used to be very large Jewish communities all over the Middle East from Iran to Iraq to North Africa. There are still large numbers of Jews even in Iran and when the Muslim empire receded in the Middle Ages from Spain the Jewish people left alongside the Muslims as they feared the actions of the Christians a lot more than those the Muslims may commit.

Therefore the Palestinian people are paying for Western guilt over the holocaust and the Zionists have no problem playing the holocaust card whenever possible to use that guilt to their advantage.

No other country since South Africa has lived under such apartheid yet we are not blockading Israel instead we are allowing it to get away with massacres on international waters, the use of chemical weapons in civilian areas, the killing of children and many more crimes that we wouldn’t put up with for a minute if that country didn’t have such strong lobby groups pulling the strings of our politicians.

They shout as you attack Israel’s foreign policy, forgetting that most Israeli’s are not even Semites and instead immigrants with no link to the land.

It has been admitted by many Israeli politicians and peace activists that this tactic of denouncing anyone who attacks Israel as an anti-Semite is a tool that has been successfully used over the years to squash dissent.

However we are now getting wise to this and can see through their hollow shouts as Palestinians kids throw stones at tanks and Israeli fighter planes paid for by American tax dollars fire missiles into chicken farms, Mosques and homes.

Under international law refugees are supposed to be able to return to their homeland however the Palestinians are stuck in squalid refugee camps as well as open air prisons such as Gaza with no right of return. All the while a convert to Judaism who has no links to the land can go and live in Israel as if they were 1st class citizens and the Palestinians 2nd class.

Just remember, the Zionists don’t respect Christians, they allow themselves to be supported by Christians who don’t realise how their “saviour” Jesus is denigrated and mocked by both religious texts and television shows.

They want our support for their “Greater Israel” and have no qualms about using false flag attacks such as the Lavron Affair or the attack on the USS Liberty to get us to fight for them. Don’t believe me – just check those two historical events out.

Whilst we are busing arming and funding Syrian rebels who behead and eat the hearts of Syrian soliders It seems that the same Islamic fundemenalists who we are supposedly helping have no qualms about killing the soldiers who have helped them on many occassion. It seems clear to me which side they are really on – NOT OURS! 

Therefore it makes it all the more stranger that we are constantly talking about intervening in countries like Syria. Are we forgetting there is a large Christian and non Islamic community who will undoubtably suffer if we let Islamic nutters take over the country with weapons supplied by us?

This is all made much more clearer with the horrific machete attack on a UK solidier in South London last night. If the killers were people who wanted us to help Syrian Muslims then they have a funny way of showing it.

However if they are sick to death, like many westerners, of this constant war of terror then they have clearly brought it back to our streets so we can feel the effects of it.

Our actions have consequences and by supporting governments who bomb, kill and maim civilians from drones is only going to cause more incidences like this one. Votes count – make sure yours does and remember that a strong army to “defend” the country is not the same as a strong army to “attack” other countries.

Our main problem is we have no actual point of reference when it comes to who we fight and who we support. It is like our leaders toss a coin to decide whether the Islamic fighters in country A are worth supporting whilst those in country B deserve a few bombs dropped on them.

We fight al-Qaeda linked Muslims in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Iraq and back al-Qaeda in Libya and Syria.

Israel is even bandaging up the wounded “enemies” of Syria (who we are also supposed to believe are the enemies of Israel) up and send them back to fight from special front line hospitals.

All the while we shoot, bomb and fire £400,000 missiles into mud huts in other Islamic countries.

How many weddings and funerals is it now that we’ve accidentally blown up because we mistook the crowd for terrorists? Did we even check the bodies to see if we got the target right? I doubt it.

It makes me think we are trying to extend this never ending war on terror for as long as possible. It would certainly make companies like Halliburton, Xe and the military industrial complex happy as they would have a perfect replacement for the Cold War enemies of years gone by to milk our government and tax payers for weapons, re-construction and security.

This clash of civilisations was predicted way back in the 80’s to justify western liberal cohesion by creating an enemy that we would all get together to fight just as we saw the Soviets as that evil empire in the 20th century Islam is their replacement in the 21st.

It just so happens that we helped this enemy rise to prominence by arming them to fight left wing forces in moderate Muslim countries and used them to fight proxy wars against the Soviets as in Afghanistan.

I have to wonder how long this war on terror is supposed to go on for?

Just enough so that we lose all our liberties at home? You know the ones that those terrorists hate us for (as we were told by George W Bush many years back) just so we can throw them away and save our enemies the trouble of taking them from us.

Or is it just long enough until we are really ready to fight China for the few remaining natural resources that there will be in a decade or so?

Maybe it is both but whatever the reason there are plenty of reasons for many Muslim people around the world to be angry at the axis of war and our hypocritical foreign policy of both fighting and arming the same kind of Islamic fundamentalists that chopped this UK soldier up in front of a school.

Our double standards when it comes to who we arm and support is blatantly stupid and anyone who studies history can see that we have no “ethical foreign policy” as Robin Cook, the ex UK Foreign Secretary once espoused.

Whether it is a right wing nationalist dictator or groups of people who are enemies and on banned organisation lists one minute and then taken off to become our armed terrorist friends the next.

And lets not forget that dozens of inmates in Gitmo who were set for release multiple years ago are still on hunger strike because of the refusal of the US government to set them free.

If they have no control over their own lives at least they can control their own death – or so they thought until the US military started force feeding them.

Some would call that torture? Does it matter what we call it, we have already crossed the Rubicon on that one a long time ago.

So whilst this attack is abhorrent and disgusting in every way. It is no different from the videos and pictures we saw the other week of a Syrian rebel cutting open the body of a Syrian soldier and eating his lungs and heart on tape.

It seems yet again that the blow-back I talked about in my last piece on the Syrian war: “Here we go again more propaganda and lies” is already coming home to bite us squarely in the arse.

No-one in my country wants Sharia law apart from a few Muslim hardliners and to them I say very loudly “Sod off back to Saudi Arabia where you can enjoy getting your hands cut off for thieving a loaf of bread instead of a slap on the wrist by our liberal western courts”.

I don’t want any English women to wear Burkas. Not only is it misogynist and a blatant sign of cultural ideas trumping scripture because men want to rule the roost, but I want to enjoy the sun, the short skirts and the nightclubs if I can thank you very much! If I didn’t I would move to an Islamic country.

However due to Labours policy of letting anyone and everyone into our country over their years in power including so many terrorists that the USA and Russia labelled LONDON, Londonistan. We are now full of terrorists we cannot deport because they would be tortured in their home country for their crimes.

We are also full to the brim of people who don’t want to assimilate, feel like we all hate them when they pick up the daily papers, and now there are more than a few thousand young unemployed Muslim men who hate our way our life and “western decadence” and don’t feel English in anyway.

Therefore when they see people from their own countries, people they feel connected to through religious and cultural ties, bombed and murdered by western made munitions and western troops they are going to re-act.

Wouldn’t you if you lived in Pakistan and saw Pakistanis bombing and killing Americans or Britains? 

Of course there is no rational explanation for what these dogs did to one of our soldiers but there is an easy fix.

Get the fuck out of business that shouldn’t involve us and let people who want to otherthrow their government do it by themselves. Leave the geo-political chess games alone and do the main function of government and defend our borders NOT attack other countries.

We had no right to go to war in Iraq and now up to a million civilians have died because of it.

We had no right to side with the Benghazi rebels in what was a blatant tribal war and now we have turned a relativley prosperous and healthy and educated populus into one ruled by rebel gangs and western armed ex terrorists.

The same has to be said of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Yemen as we drop bombs on villages from drones controlled from thouands of miles away. We use a generation of soldiers grown up on Playstations to fly drones with controllers modelled on the same computers and we don’t even bother to count the bodies as we fly off to our next target.

I wonder how many relatives of the dead innocent victims of these attacks have promised vengeance on US or UK soldiers at their funerals?

If there are terrorists who have actually committed crimes (not just spouted off on the Internet) then we should send in special forces, extract them and try them in a court of law. We should be showing the world we are better than them NOT the same as them. What ever happened to “leading by example” and having a belief in “moral superiority”.

By dropping bombs from drones on poor peoples homes from a far and not even knowing if we killed a true terrorist of just a whole innocent family trying to survive on less than $1 a day we are letting the world see our callousness.

There is a reason I call the west “the axis the war” e.g. USA/UK/France, and it was no surprise that at the time of the attack in Woolwich our heroic PM, “Call me Dave” Cameron, was with French President François Hollande discussing arming the same sorts of people who just cut our own soldiers hearts out in but in Syria.

Are we fucking stupid? It would seem so to me.

These Islamic rebels who want to impose Sharia law wherever they go haven’t thanked us for Libya and they surely won’t thank us for Syria if we end up supporting and arming them.

History is full of our hypocrisy over al-Qaeda and long ago we even helped the al-Qaeda linked KLA in their battle with Serbia. What does that tell you apart from the fact that we have no ethical line in the sand when it comes to war and selling arms to whoever we can is more important than an ethical foreign policy.

If “call me Dave” had any sense he would have said in his COBRA meeting today that we should pull out of the Stan ASAP and start a peace process in Syria NOT throw more coal into the fire.

However I doubt that thought was even mentioned by anyone sitting round the table. What I can presume is that more liberty destroying measures were discussed such as real time monitoring of social media, ID cards, profiling Muslims and throwing other liberties away. All things that we should be more scared of losing than the rare occurrence of a terrorist attack on our streets.

If you read my last article from the Corbett Report about Zbigniew Brzezinski, The Conspiracy Theorist then you will know that he was the architect of al-Qaeda and the Taliban we are now fighting in the Stan.

He is also the reason the Stan produces the most smack in the world at the moment.

Why? All because the USA wanted to draw the Soviets into their own Vietnam. He succeeded and the hero of the war, a certain Mr bin-Laden soon became the biggest bogey man in the world.

Morals, ethics, don’t make me laugh.

Well the crazies who didn’t bother to read the Mayan prophecy before declaring 2012 the end of the world were proved wrong.

However 2012 was certainly no reprieve from looming disasters that we seem to lurch drunkenly from like a Glaswegian drunk on Hogmanay. It has been an unmitigated disaster from all corners of perspective and from my own view point it doesn’t seem to be getting better any time soon.

So if last year was Time magazines year of the protester what was 2012?

It was firstly the year that the Arab Spring turned into an Islamic winter.

From the dictator swap in Egypt from Mubarak to Mohamed Morsi to the Syrian civil war that see’s the western backed Islamic rebels murder and massacre Christians and Muslims alike it seems that “the Western axis of war” hasn’t learnt from their mistakes in Libya and are still trying to impose democracy (whatever that is) by the gun and the bomb.

It was not enough that Libya was an unmitigated failure with the country still caught up in under reported rebel gangs, armed with NATO weapons, fighting it out among each other, desecrating World War 2 British graveyards and murdering US ambassadors.

It seems that we have learnt nothing and are still backing the enemy of our enemy, even if that means supporting Islamic extremists linked to terrorists and our supposed mortal enemy al-Qaeda.

Syria is being torn apart by Western and Saudi backed rebel groups as extreme as any dictator we might be justified in other-throwing.

Even though Saddam Hussein, Col Qaddafi, Mubarak and Assad were or in the case of President Assad, still nasty dictators  The people of their countries were not worrying daily about car bombs or NATO planes blowing their houses to bits. Christians lived alongide Muslims and Sunnis lived alongside Shiites in peace.

They may have had to keep their mouth shut when it came to politics but in the case of Libya they had high standards of living and life expectancy in comparison to their neighbours plus they were doing well economically even if they were not “free” as they now supposedly are.

How free are the thousands of protesters in Tahrir square who are still hoping that their earlier revolution against the western backed Hosni Mubarak is not lost as they fight on against the new democratically elected “pharaoh” Mohamed Morsi.

The head of the Muslim Brotherhood, a Western intelligence linked group, that took power in an election before granting himself dictatorial like powers that liberal minded Egyptians are outraged about.

There has been no slowing down of the torture, imprisonment without trial and police brutality that occurs almost nightly as Tahrir square once again becomes the focus of change versus the establishment. The only difference is that this is now an Islamic establishment and one that I suspect the West has been wanting to be implanted for years.

Why?

Well the long predicted Culture War between Western Judo/Christianity and Islam has been on the cards for a long time. It is in these eyes that we can see that the West is not too bothered about the Middle East becoming an Islamic Caliphate as it will give them the perfect excuse to continue feeding the Military Industrial Complexes pockets before preparing for the next big war with Iran.

From Afghanistan to the United States we have seen tensions between the two religions of “the book”. Both offshoots of the first books of the Bible and both linked by history and commonly shared religious beliefs.

As western backed Syrian rebels ransack Christian Churches and Christian ministers burn Korans, the fires that are slowly burning away underneath a groundswell of anti-immigration furor in Europe are gently being stoked until the general population are ready for all out war. The next big war is coming – how bad it will be is up to us.

Apart from the upcoming battles that will thin the herd we have spent the year watching people hand over their privacy as if it was an antiquated concept in return for gadgets, applications and the latest phone or computer tablet.

Google, Amazon, Twitter and the rest of the big Internet companies have already been caught out avoiding paying their fair share of tax by using 1 man offices in tax havens. However the bigger news is their links to the new American Security State Apparatus and how the upcoming generation are being conditioned to accept a world of total surveillance.

We have people selling their private information to these corporations just so that they can watch their own house or car on Google maps or tell the world of Twitter users what they had for breakfast that morning.

In 50 years George Orwell’s 1984 nightmare of a state camera in every room of your house will be an old fashioned concept.

We already have surveillance states in the UK and USA where city walls are adorned with CCTV cameras linked to huge city sized databases and the TRAPWIRE system that uses facial recognition technology to link up with other super computers and store, analyse and log every “person of interests” move for the new 1 million strong – super spies that already have top level security clearance in the USA.

Amerika is no longer a fear but a reality.

The NDAA allows the President to lock up Americans for eternity without trial on his say so alone. If he wanted to he could even have you killed as he has already shown with the assassination of American born Anwar al-Awlaki in Yemen by a done strike.

You know onne of those deadly accurate drone strikes that treat every male over the age of 8 as enemy combatants (unless proven otherwise) and kill 49 innocent civilians for every “terrorist”.

This is only an extension of the emergency act implemented after 9.11 and still exist to this day – something most American’s know nothing about and literally give the President the power to do what he wants to defend the country.

Whether that means grope or virtual strip machines at airports, bombing Afghan and Pakistani weddings or just starting wars without the consent of Congress as he did in Libya. He has more powers than previous Presidents and all because of the events of 9.11 and the endless war on terror we are still feeling the effects of 11 years on.

A case can be made that the right wing in America have it totally wrong when they call Obama a communist but in reality he is more of a dictator who has continued the George W Bush’s policy of  stripping American citizens of their liberties with laws like the PATRIOT ACT and he has taken them a whole mile further down the road to dictatorship with laws like the NDAA.

The only socialism on show at the moment is the one in which banksters take hard earned tax dollars from the public as state handouts to be used to make even more money in the rigged game that is Wall St through front running and high frequency trading.

As Europe teeters on the brink of self-collapse and America countries printing it’s way to self destruction the BRIC countries are growing in strength.

China is collecting gold bars at the same rate their slave workers throw themselves off the US corporation balconies that were offshored. Workers working for companies that make their goods overseas, pay hardly any tax and care not a jot for the quality of life that the makers of their products have to endure.

So when you next open your iPhone to send a Tweet about how your Facebook profile has been updated just remember that some poor soul in China has worked 18 hour days for a pittance just so that you can throw your privacy away to companies that are in cahoots with America’s new global surveillance society and that your email, contact info and other personal information is just another commodity to be sold and re-sold by these companies.

Just don’t scratch your head when your inbox fills up with spam or every web page you seem to visit seems to show adverts targeted especially for you.

What can we hope for 2013 then?

Well the end of the world isn’t being booked for this year as the Mayans don’t have anything planned so far.

Therefore if the world does end it will be of our own making. We are already being cajoled into believing Iran is on the brink of nuking us all despite any evidence from the IAEA and it is only Israeli pressure on the US congressmen they own and the blackmail they have probably collated on the President that will force any pointless war.

It might be all the assassinations and military base attacks by US/Israeli backed terrorist groups (or freedom fighters in this case) that has changed Iran’s mind.

Or it might be the first cyber warfare weapon STUXNET that changed it by almost destroying their nuclear program through multiple zero day exploits only a nation state would have the manpower and knowledge to use.

Or it might just be the fact that Iran wasn’t making a bomb in the first place – it is un-Islamic after all.

On the one hand Iran is called a fanatical Islamic state but when it comes to the part of Islam that says nuclear weaponry is against God’s will then that seems to get overlooked.

However what cannot be overlooked is the total hypocrisy of an apartheid state like Israel, a country that unlike Iran isn’t a member of the Nuclear Non Proliferation Agency but still has 200+ nuclear bombs calling Iran a threat for “maybe” thinking about building one without proof.

This is after all a country that only recently assassinated the Hamas military commander who had brokered a cease fire that stopped Hamas firing rockets into Israel and then sat back as Hamas fell into their trap firing hundreds of firecracker rockets into Israel.

Some of these were long range ones that got lucky almost reaching Tel Aviv, others were not so lucky and almost hit their fellow Palestinians in the West Bank.

However this battle was once again one sided and whilst the world waited for Israel to once again enter Gaza and massacre over  a thousand innocent people as they did in Operation Cast Lead they instead blew up children playing football and attacked journalists from the air in a short but powerful onslaught that stopped short before any Israeli troops entered Gaza city.

Therefore if we are to see the next year out without another middle eastern war it is only going to be if someone reigns in the Likud war party and brokers some kind of peace deal in the Middle East.

This bleeding sore on the face of the world has been leaking for too long and the longer it goes on the more chance there is of a catastrophe occurring.

The more Middle Eastern states that turn from their ex Western backed dictators  to new Islamic governments the more chance we have of the perfect trigger to start the culture war that ne-cons and ex cold war warriors have been planning for decades.

9.11 did the job of getting America fighting Muslims on Israels terms, and with their dumbed down public they don’t even realise that 92% of Afghans have never even heard of this event they are supposed to be fighting America for. Instead it’s sold to American’s that it’s all because they “hate our freedoms” of course!

Nothing to do with the army bases in their holy lands or their biased one sided support for Israel – no it was American freedom they hated.

The sad thing is a mud hut dwelling Afghan probably has more freedom than any American ever had.

They certainly don’t have to worry about CCTV or TSA gropers it’s only drones blowing up their weddings and soldiers going on killing sprees for fun that they have to deal with on a daily basis.

Add to that pertinent point that America has thrown away most of their freedoms anyway and the people the US are fighting in the Stan are just Taliban/civilians who see the US/UK soldiers as just another group of invaders they have been putting up with for centuries. It  seems that they don’t actually have much left to do to “win the war” by defeating all that American freedom they hate so much.

Plus seeing that there is hardly any “real” al-Qaeda in Afghanistan anymore.

The rest of them are being funded and backed by the US/UK axis of war in Syria doing their next de-stabilisation job after we already supported them in Libya. It looks like the world is on it’s head and needs a dose of reality shoved down it’s throat.

That doesn’t look like it’s going to happen anytime soon.

Therefore if we end 2013 without another war we will have done well indeed and I reckon that is the best we can hope for!

The Real Culture War is just starting

From a European perspective the culture wars in the USA seem to be over such insignificant matters that the two parties seem indistinguishable from each other.

The GOP call Obama a Marxist and the Democrats call the Republicans red neck creationists.

In reality their is little in difference between both high deficit, war mongering, police state, big government parties that incur huge government debts for their own purposes.

Do American’s not realise that over here in Europe we actually have countries who still have Communist and Facsist parties holding seats in parliament and a range of parties from Green, Liberal, Conservative, Trade Union supporting and everything else in-between going for seats in parliament at every election.

The Americans seem to be fighting over the same things not realising that the major points that matter – war, the future of our planet, energy, workers rights, paying off our debts without killing growth (and our old people at the same time) are the things that really matter. To many Europeans there seems little difference between the Democratics and Republicans.

The real culture wars, which I believe have been planned for a very long time, probably since before the end of the Cold War as the military industrial complex looked for a new enemy to bring in their billions of dollars are going to be religious based. Christian & Judaism verus Islam or Liberalism verus Middle Age thinking.

This is the same military industrial complex Dwight Eisenhower spoke about in his farewell speech.

These are the descendants of the peace time standing armies Thomas Jefferson warned us about hundreds of years ago.

“Standing armies [are] inconsistent with [a people’s] freedom and subversive of their quiet.” ~Reply to Lord North’s Proposition (1775)

Both these warnings have been ignored and the next war is on the brink of being played out RIGHT now.

Our multi culturlisam has let the enemies within our gates and now whole swathes of European cities from London to Amsterdam and Paris are full of Islamic extremists who have no concept of free speech, the right to offend or the rights of women.

Many of these people still live in a world formed by 7th century views.

As Western Judaeo Christian beliefs have lightened over the years and science has replaced mysitcism and magic as the way to find answers to questions we don’t yet know we are being surrounded by people who won’t change their dogmatic beliefs because the Koran says so.

Gods word is fixed and unchangeable to many of these people.

A point in time back in the 7th century was the end of all progress for many Muslims including the Taliban who before the Americans invaded Afghanistan had banned music, dancing and all forms of sexual “deviance” as it broke the faith and led you to being executed in the middle of the Kabul football stadium.

The culture wars are being fought out everytime a radical Christian decides to burn a Koran or a video or cartoon mocking the phrophet Mohammed is played out and chaos insues around the world.

From the war zones where attacks on NATO bases have just been carried out to the riots in Middle Eastern cities and now to protests in European city centres.

Then there comes the backlash.

We have had the Nowegian mass murderer Behring Breivik killing not Muslims but 77 white children for their part in letting the enemy in the gates of Europe.

We have the English Defence League a replacment for the National Front which used to go round bashing up blacks and gay’s  fighting the Burka clad women who don’t even acknowledge a white male or say thank you if you let them across the road or open a door for them due to their religion/culture.

Plus the culturally abusive men who force their child daughters into servitude at an early age through forced marriages and then implement “honour killings” when they refuse to obey.

Much of this is culture NOT religion but it is being mixed up so much people can not longer tell the difference and the men in these families will use religion as an excuse to carry out these barbaric acts.

Now this is not to say I am a Muslim basher as nothing can be further from the truth.

I know people who call themselves Muslim just like those who call themselves Jewish or Christian who still smoke, drink, take drugs or have affairs.

Heck I know a white bloke who converted to Islam just so that he could marry his Muslm neighbour because if he wanted to divorce her he only had to tell her 3 times.

I know Muslims who parents must think they are good Islamic followers of the faith as they are outside all night partying after leaving the Mosque on a Friday. Everything a non fundermentalist liberal culturised Brit would do on a normal Friday night out on the town.

The enemy is not every Muslim.

Just like the fact that every American Christian isn’t an abortionist killing, death penalty loving, creationist believing contradiction wrapped up in a riddle.

The enemy is a strict belief in a religion that was written by undeducated people hundreds of years ago to explain the world around them and then spread with the threat of hell if you stray from the path and the reward of heaven or 72 virgins if you die a matyr to your faith.

The enemy is a strict belief in any religion that tells you what to eat, when to eat, how to have sex, who to have sex with, who to hate and so on.

This applies to all religions not just Islam.

However everytime some anti-Islamic film is made or Koran burnt many of the people rioting and killing NATO troops have not even seen said film, cartoon or book and they are acting on the orders of others who are stoking up their rage.

Afghanistan is a mess.

We should have never gone in there in the first place and once we leave the hundreds if not thousands of sleeper cells inside the NATO trained Afghan army and police will come out and fight and it will all turn to shit again. We will have accomplished nothing.

We are already at the peak of Green on Blue deaths with 51 NATO troops killed so far this year.

A senior Afghan official in Kabul is quoted as saying that “the issue of rogue soldiers and Taliban infiltration is an even bigger threat than suicide attacks.”

Once we leave “the Stan” and return home will the real culture war end or will it just be starting?

Have we left it too late to have any hope of assimiliating the millions of Muslims now living in Europe into Western Liberal culture that allows free speech and does not protect the right to be offended?

Many have been assimilated but many others led by radical clerics and Imans are all too keen to express the same rage over silly  produced films as their Middle Eastern counterparts are doing such as the one below.

These fundamentalist Muslims want to implement Sharia law across the world and see our western liberal freedoms as a weakness not a strength. We can watch a film like the one above and say “that’s rubbish and a crock of shit” without going on murderous rampages around the world.

It makes it all more surprising that we have been spending the last few years removing dictators and strong men that were western friendly and kept a lid on all the Islamic infighting and religious mania.

People like Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein and Mubarak who may have been nasty dictators but who were leaders that let Christians and Muslims live side by side. Heck, even Iran has one of the largest number of Jews living inside it outside Jerusalem and New York.

However we decided to arm al-Qaeda linked rebels and other religious fanatics and let them other-throw these dictators and now the Middle East is a mess.

These NATO armed religious rebels who are walking around their towns with guns and rockets paid for by our taxes will be all too keen to turn them on us once their missions are accomplished. Just like the Mujahideen turned in al-Qaeda after we created them in the 80’s to fight the USSR. We can only wait for the blowback.

Obviously this all plays into the hands of those who want to ramp up the war against Islam and extend the high tech surveillence state at home.

Even the odd false flag attack now and then to be blamed on Muslims wouldn’t hurt to stoke up the feelings that a real war is needed to stop these fanatics wouldn’t be past the people I’m talking about.

This could just be the reason our “leaders” were looking for to finalise the all invasive, all seeing, police state that is being created brick by brick around us as you read this article.

When the enemy has been let in willingingly and then stoked up by being placed in ghettos like the outskirts of Paris, given little or no jobs and treated like 2nd class citizens by the people they came to live with, it becomes easy to take a youngster and radicalise him against his neighbours.

Mix in the one thing they hold dear – their religion – constantly mocked and attacked through stupid movies and laws banning head scarfs and Burkas and it only becomes clear the real culture war is going to be between western liberalism and Islam.

Once riots becoming an almost monthly occurrence across Europe because of this culture war, then it only becomes “sensible” to keep track off everybody for “their own good”.

With the all pervasive high tech surveillance state and city sized super computers watching your every move on and offline in case dissent forms and the real culture war turns hot and bloody.

Whether we can roll back from the brink however is a totally different matter and one I don’t know the answer to. I just hope we can find one soon.

When is a cult a religion and when is a religion a cult?

Watching The Big Questions this morning (2 articles this show has now spawmed) there was only one question which was “What’s the difference between a Cult and Organised Religion”

On one side were the standard old age religionis, Christians, Catholics, Rabbis and Muslims and on the other side we had members of existing “new” religions such as Raelians, Moonies – or as they are called now members of the “Unification Church”, an ex member of the Branch Davidians which if you remember was the target of the ATF and FBI ended up in a state sanctioned massacre of 82 religious people.

The audience was also filled with ex members of cults, physchologists who have studied the “brainwashing” techinques used by such called groups and other affected by these groups in one way of another.

In my mind it is quite simple but lets look at a definition of a Cult

• a particular system of religious worship, especially with reference to its rites and ceremonies.
• an instance of great veneration of a person, ideal, or thing, especially as manifested by a body of admirers: the physical fitness cult.
• the object of such devotion.
• a group or sect bound together by veneration of the same thing, person, ideal, etc.
• Sociology . a group having a sacred ideology and a set of rites centering around their sacred symbols.

Lets look at the definition of a Religion

• a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
• a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects: the Christian religion; the Buddhist religion.
• the body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices: a world council of religions.
• the life or state of a monk, nun, etc. to enter religion.
• the practice of religious beliefs – ritual observance of faith.

In mine and many in the audiences (apart from those belonging to organised religions) not much differece.

Jesus was supposedly a characteristic person who had followers – apparantly a key sign of a cult. The same could be said about Mohammed, Buddha, Hari Krishna and many other “old religions”.

The disagreement seems to be as one person said one of size. The Catholic Chuch is a huge and rich organisation whereas some of the orgainisations called cults such as the Raelians who believe we were created (just as scientisits on this planet are now starting to do with DNA) by human beings from another planet in the universe.

A case of aliens geo-engineering the earth and it’s inhabitants. When compared to some of the stories that the “official” religions believe in such as virgin births, coming back to life after dying and performing miracles not too bizare a belief.

What got my interest though was that one of the audience members said to an ex member of the Branch Davidians asked whether the leader David Koresh sexually abused children at the branch. The member denied this but others of the “scientific” community said that one of the signs of a cult as compared to a religion was the sexual abuse that was endemic within cults which had such charesmatic leaders that the followers did whatever he said due to brain washing techniques as well as the cult of personality. This seemed to be a big difference between living your life by a set of defined values (as Christians, Jews and Muslims supposedly do) whilst cult members didn’t.

There wasn’t any mention of the numerous cases of sexual abuses, pedophilia, cover ups and criminal cases over the years that have been engrained in “old religons” since their conception.

We have just experience a major Catholic cover up over its treatment of pedophile priests which led all the way up to the ex Nazi Youth Pope. Court case after case in Ireland has shown the Catholic Church to be one of the biggest organised pedophole rings in the world – and one of the most well funded and protected.

The same sort of sexual abuse has been endemic in Christian history for a long time. Why a man of breeding age would willingly chose abstinence and the company of little boys over a normal life seems obvious to me but in these times where psychology would give more than one answer it seems like an old excuse to hide ones sexual pedidocs from the community at large.

Islam has always had its critics from those who called the original “cult leader” Mohammed certain terms for the age of some of his wives. However in some states of America where the age in some states it’s 18 you might call the Spannish strange for having an age of consent of only 13 and other European countries from 13, 14 up to 18. Even in some places in Africa and Asia is not uncommon for child weddings where an old man takes a 12 year old as a wife.

Marriage would then be valid as long as neither of the two parties annulled the marital agreement before reaching puberty, or if they had already consummated the marriage. It should be noted that Judges honored marriages based on mutual consent at ages younger than 7, in spite of what Gratian had said; there are recorded marriages of 2 and 3 year olds.

And then there is the Jewish Talmud, the book of laws made by Rabbis that is full of teachings that allow Rabbis to have sex with girls of extremley young ages or not consider rape illegal if the man was a rabbi. These Talmudic laws have been known for a long time but are not unique for an age in which rape wasn’t even considered a crime.

Even in England raping your wife wasn’t considered a crime until back in 1990.

So sexual behaviour cannot be considered a sign of cultish behaviour. However when a science fiction writer claims that “the best way to make a million dollars is to start a religion” and then goes on to do exactly that.

Charging people thousands of dollars for learning it’s many steps up to the big reveal, the “ultimate secret” one that wouldn’t be out of place in any science fiction book:

Scientologists believe that 75 million years ago an evil galactic ruler, named Xenu, solved overpopulation by bringing trillions of people to Earth in DC-8 space planes, stacking them around volcanoes and nuking them. Then the souls of these dead space aliens were captured and boxed up and taken to cinemas where they were shown films of what life should be like, false ideas containing God, the devil and Christ and told to get ill.

After that they supposedly clustered together and now inhabit our bodies. Scientologists believe that if they rid themselves of these body Thetans then they will be healthier and will gain special powers like mind-over-matter.

People who try to leave are harassed, treated as traitors and have even had to face legal cases over their revelations of the “big secret” that people like Tom Cruise and John Travolata pay up to $500,000 for this top secret information. No wonder the Church of Scientology wants to keeps it’s big secret secret!

So there seems to be clear cases of made up religions that can be called cults, in which the aim of the organisation is to extract money from the member instead of a pay if you want to bag of donations passed around a Church on a Sunday morning. However it seems that if one were to go back to the start of each off shoot of the Abrahamic faith with today’s knowledge and science each new religion could easily fail into the class of a cult.

In my mind it is up to you what you want to believe but mocking anothers belief using claims that could easily fit your own brand of spiritual belief is stretching rationality at least a little.

When the definition of what is a religion and a cult are so indistinguishable from each other then maybe members of either grouping should stop to consider their beliefs before slagging off their opponents.

I’m right because my religious book says so therefore you must all be wrong is not a logical argument that stands up too long at all.

Why not let kids choose when they are old enough whether or not to be indoctrinated by religion

I have just watched the “Big Questions” on BBC1 which you can watch in a few hours on BBC iPlayer and there are ways to watch it from abroad if you are technical enough or know what a proxy server is.

However the show was about religion and mainly about whether Religion was good for Children. This included faith schools and how child’s brains are formed and can be indoctrinated during their younger years into religion. The debate was full of humanists, evangelical Christians, Muslims and Rabbi’s.

Whilst there is no doubt that in this country at least which has a long history the Christian religion has brought many good things as well as bad things to the overall culture of the country such as original schooling, charitable foundations and people who were moral Christians who went out into the slums to help the poor because of their faith.

However we now live in a multicultural society and “the age of reason” where faith schools are allowed to exist which can create their admission policy around the students religious background. You can help change this by signing this petition.

We have had stories over the years of the Saudi Arabian supported schools that undercover reporters found were teaching things about defamatory things about Jews and Christians and much more.

In my belief faith schools are a bad thing as they teach separation on the lines of indoctrination.

Kids at the age they go to school are likely to follow the beliefs and actions of their parents. If their parents are religious they are likely to unquestionably follow their parents including religion and going to a faith school will re-inforce that belief. They are also less likely to mix with children from outside their faith as friendships are formed within school at that age.

As we know from Northern Ireland and the Protestant and Catholic schooling systems that helped keep the country divided for years schools can be the places where child’s philosophies on life are formed (which is why many religious people take their children out of State schools to home teach as they believe they are too liberal).

For some children the school is the only place they receive any kind of mental stimulation or moral grounding as some parents are just too busy working all the time to pay for food, mortgages, clothes and other things that keep them alive.

Whilst many parent are not like that I have seen personally many children at the age of 5 that you can just tell are going to end up in prison as their parents only talk to them when they shout at them to tell them to shut up or sit down as they are too busy watching TV to play with them.

Therefore schools can be very important places and for some kids they are the only place they receive any kind of information, life skills and for some abused children any form of kindness and even love.

We all know from the statistics that many Church of England or Catholic schools in the UK have some of the top grades in the country for state schools which is why so many parents try to get their kids into them whether they are religious or not.

This is more a damming indictment on our state school system that a sign that faith schools provide a better education and moral grounding.

Our state schools are a mess and I personally can attest to that after being to one and it is through pure luck and my own brain that I didn’t end up in prison like so many others of my peer group.

Through my own thirst for knowledge I went out and taught myself what I now know in this world through reading books many of which were religious (e.g history of religion(s)), studying philosophy and then when the Internet arrived I probably learned more in a couple years of surfing the web than I did in the whole of my state secondary school education.

In places in Southern states of America where religion is supposedly so strong, schools are evangelically christian by nature and children hold “purity rings” to show they won’t have sex until they are married as they are taught by their Christian religion they have some of the highest levels of teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted disease, anal sex and other signs that the kids are breaking the rules or bending the indoctrination to fit in their hormones.

At the time of their life when the urge to have sex suddenly arrives but a moral code forced on them forbids it – what happens? They try to “bend the rules” and end up having anal or oral sex as they see it as not having “real” sex as it doesn’t lead to pro-creation.

As many religious people on all sides claim, morals are linked to religion and without their religion they wouldn’t have a moral grounding. This really annoys humanists and atheists as it signifies that moral behaviour is somehow only available to followers of a certain belief system.

Obviously this is hogwash as not only would it mean that without the religious belief the person would become a murdering, raping, lunatic which is plainly crazy but it would mean that all the millions of people who are not followers of a religion would be non-moral unethical walking anti-christs.

Humanists do what is right because it is right not because an old book or myth handed down Chinese whisper style before it could be written down says so.

What I found interesting from the debate was what one person said about linking a moral code to a belief system, as many religions do. That when, as many do, people leave the religion they are likely to leave the moral code behind as well because the two have become so intrinsically linked together in that persons mind.

In this scenario the person might engage in immoral behaviour to spite the religious teachings they had forced upon them, which might be the root cause of this belief of religion equals  morals.

This could be the “lack of morals” that some religious people see when they talk about the lack of morals in humanists and atheists but it but it is also a good reason why ethics and morals should be taught on their own right at school without any linkage to religion at all. People should be taught that doing good things is good for their own sake not because Jesus or Mohammed said it was good.

Good ethics and morals are something I cannot ever remember being taught at school and it should be a parents jobs to teach right from wrong without indoctrinating the child into a belief system anyway.

The school however should realise that in this day and age, when riots are occurring around the land and the economy is collapsing and whole estates are no-go areas for the Police that they should be a backstop in case of these missing “home lessons” that undoubtedly so many kids today don’t get at all.

I remember my own Religious Education lessons at school and they were just a time for winding up our very religious (Christian obviously) teacher.

I remember one lesson trying to be the critical and questioning child that we should all want our children to be and on the subject of heaven I asked “what happens in heaven”.

The teacher replied that in heaven we were all given jobs to do by God and went around working for him. I replied that it all sounded very boring and I didn’t really want to go to heaven if that was all that happened and that hell sounded a lot more exciting. I was sent out of the lesson in disgrace – no questioning my indoctrination in this class please.

As a book writer on the subject talked about on the show, at the age we are at school our brains are forming and in the “questioning, critical analysis” stage which should be nurtured not stubbed out through indoctrination and blanket yes/no answers to big questions that kids want to know at that age.

Questions we still ask such as “where did I come from” , “why are we here” and “what is the meaning of life and does there even need to be one”. These are all questions that some of us are still trying to find the answer for but through reason, science and logic not fairy tales and ancient stories.

At that time in our lives we undoubtedly live in a mystical age where we are likely to believe anything we are told. This is the reason we believe in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and read books about magicians, dragons and other Harry Potter style fantasies.

However we all grow up and whilst the myth of Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy were dispelled by me either sleepily catching my parents filling my stocking or being told at school at a young age it was all a myth the religious myths continued.

The main reason I suppose was that older people, people in authority were still believing these religious stories and as a child it is hard to disagree with authority (for some at least) when they tell you black is black or God exists. Case closed.

In my opinion, and I cannot see how we could do this unless we banned faith schools, banned home schooling and then countered any home time indoctrination by teaching ethics, morals, philosophy, psychology, sociology and even religion from a historical and cultural point of view. At least this way we ensure our kids get some useful knowledge from the time they spend at school as well as a moral grounding that might be missing at home in all in a non religious way.

Of course if we taught these lessons instead of the mundane and boring lessons that I can remember from my state school education it might even help solve the problem we currently have of parents feeling guilty by not being able to pay for their child to go to a private school and replace the loss of Grammar schools for the clever kids that have to suffer state school teaching. We must churn out those drug dealers and factory line workers…

It would raise state education standards for all pupils and also give our kids a grounding in morals and ethics that are not linked to any belief system they might discard later in life.

I am not against people choosing to believe in religion or the Flying Spaghetti Momster in the sky if they are old enough to make their own decisions.

I am however against children being indoctrinated into any religion at an early and particularly susceptible age in your life.

I am also against little boys and in some regions of the world girls being genitally mutilated by being circumcised when they are too young to make their own decision. Something that would be considered child abuse in any other context.

Remember it is not about religion it is about teaching right from wrong. And neither are linked to the story of Abraham and the 3 faiths that flowed from that story and make up the majority of religious believers today – Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

As Ghandi famously said: “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ”

When does the enemy of our enemy stay our enemy?

As the recent desecrating of British World War II graves in Benghazi shows we are have not been thanked by all Libyans for helping
them other-throw Col Gaddafi.

This is just a consequence of the Empires double dealing with both sides of the Devil.

Selling arms to Gaddafi when it suited us and then allowing our supposed mortal enemy al-Qaeda to basically take over large parts of the country and kill Gaddafi when we were tired of him.

The reasons for the desecration are not clear yet and have been linked to the recent burning of the Koran by US forces in Afghanistan. But then what do you expect from militant religious extremists who only believe in black and white and see the Empire tormenting and teasing them at every turn.

I can only imagine the rage by certain quarters of the media if a groups of Muslims did the same sort of thing to us, by burning a big stack of Bibles or maybe desecrating Christian and Jewish graves in a Benghazi cemetery…

Lest no-one think that al-Qaeda linked rebels are not in control we only need to look at the rebel commander of Tripoli, Abdelhakim Belhaj,  a confirmed ex LIFG terrorist who was actually tortured on the behest of MI6 by the Americans for his links to al-Qaeda. Something which he is now trying to sue the British Government and MI6 for.

However despite us knowing the types of people we were dealing with we still chose to go ahead and help install in power al-Qaeda linked terrorists.

Yes, we were admittedly other-throwing a despicable leader who tortured many of his own people . Yet Gaddafi was no worse or better than any of the other despots and dictators we deal with on a day to day basis. We deal with Saudi Arabia and China for heavens sake so no moral absolutism here please.

We live in a world full of moral relativism and “realpolitik” and any politician who declares otherwise is lying for your vote.

But look at Libya now. It’s a mess that even mainstream media are reporting on and you know it must be bad when even the MSM start peeling back the layers of propaganda and reveal partial truths on their nightly news shows.

Like Iraq before it Libya is suffering even more than before our “interventions”. Rapes, summary executions, crackdowns on journalists, and militias roaming the streets unwilling to give up their western gifts of guns, RPG’s and other arms that they are now using to fight each other with.

All whilst the National Transitional Council (NTC) says that everything is just fine, nothing to see here they say even whilst fighters from the two towns of Zawiyah and Warshefana were shooting it out in the latter part of 2011. During the clashes which saw many deaths the NTC leader was insisting that everything was okay.

“I want to assure the Libyan people that everything is under control” said Mustapha Abdul-Jalil the supposed interim leader of Libya.

How much control does he actually have when he cannot even disarm the hundreds of rebel groups who have replaced the Libyan authorities and are now fighting along tribal and religious lines. Settling scores with weaponry paid for by Western tax payers.

So it is of little surprise that some of the more extreme rebels / terrorists we have helped install into power in Libya are now showing their displeasure at the Empires actions in other Muslim countries we have helped “liberate” by attacking World War II cemetery’s.

We know how far some of these people are prepared to go to defend their religion by previous acts when we have burned Korans or even showed pictures of Mohammed in newspapers. Therefore we cannot act that surprised by reprisal actions such as those in a Benghazi cemetery.

What is surprising, to me at least, is why we continue to find ourselves on the same side as our supposed mortal enemy al-Qaeda. Twice in a year, in Libya and now Syria, we are supporting rebels who are also publicly backed by the terrorist organisation we have spent the last 10 years at war with.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend?

Really? When is it that this circular logic turns into a set of unintended consequences that have deep repercussions for current and future generations.

We only have to see how our support of the Mujaheddin in their war with the Soviet Union turned into a massive blowback and the formation of al-Qaeda. Supposedly a worldwide SPECTRE like terror group but really just the name of “the database” of disposable CIA assets that were used in that proxy war against our last mortal enemy the USSR.

What is the likelihood of blowback from our current intelligence agencies “clever” interference in Middle Eastern realpolitik?

When does the enemy of our enemy actually stay our enemy?

What number does the head count of actual real al-Qaeda terrorists as opposed to those terror acts carried out by rouge intelligence agencies and blamed on them, have to drop to before we can say the real war with terror and al-Qaeda is over?

How many times does it take it when we find ourtselves on the same side as the people we have thrown centuries worth of liberties and freedoms in the bin for, from Bosnia to Libya and now Syria, before we can safely assume that this “database” of intelligence assets is nothing more than that.

When do we come to the conclusion that al-Qaeda is not a real enemy at all but just the excuse the military industrial complex required to keep the money flowing into their pockets from the end of the cold war and into the 21st century. Peace dividend what peace dividend, we have never had so many wars in so little time.

Is it not reasonable to conclude that sometimes the conspiracy theorists just might be spot on when they claim that al-Qaeda is the perfect tool for western intelligence agencies to create just enough instability in regions of interest so that order is called for and implemented by NATO’s bombs?

The conspiracy theorists are not alone here and are backed up by the “most gagged woman” in history Sibel Edmonds.

Someone who used to work as a translator for the US government and knows more secrets than she is allowed to tell. However she has often spoke of how the CIA maintained “close links” with bin Laden right up until 9.11 and used al-Qaeda as a de-stabilising tool for regions in the world the US wanted to maintain a presence.

Just the fact the US government has thrown gag order after gag order on her lends credence to her revelations and it would be very interesting to hear everything she had to say on the matter along with all the other western intelligence assets who are currently prevented from revealing information about our links to terrorist groups through official secrets acts, PATRIOT acts and security letters.

Therefore we cannot expect too much from the whistleblowers, even though we have heard plenty from people like Ray McGovern, David Shayler, Col Anthony Shaffer and many more alike who have been brave enough to stick their heads above the parapet and attacked for doing so.

One only need look at how whistleblowers are treated by supposed democratic and “free” nations to realise they are not thanked for exposing illegal activity by their own government even when they should be.

So we must look for clues in other places and there is no better a clue to how we act in the world.

Who do our nations stand next to as allies and friends?

What reasons do we go to war for and what lies do we tell to justify our actions in doing so?

Do we act with an even hand and fairly or do we hypocritically pick and chose our battles depending on other reasons such as the potential for oil or other business contracts?

Do we attack all evil or only the evil we want to?

Do we attack nations for their human rights abuses on one hand whilst allowing them to prop us up through their debt purchases and cheap imports on the other?

Is a nation only worth sacrificing our soldiers lives for if they have strong political pressure groups and lobbyists in our government or do we treat all people equally whatever the strength of their foreign spy networks and threats of exposure through blackmail?

Is it even worth asking these questions when we already know the answer to all of them and if so why do we keep electing the same kind of politician into office at every opportunity?

Is there any real alternative to our current political process or are other measures required to restore our standing in the world?

What straw or cemetery headstone has to snap before we decide to do something about it?

Bill Maher criticises the one religion that cannot tolerate criticism

Bill Maher attacked the Muslim nutters who stormed the UN embassy in Afghanistan last week after another Christian nutter burned their religious book of choice.

The rampaging mob hunted down and murdered numerous people as well as setting UN workers on fire and beheading two people that had nothing whatsoever to do with the burning of the Koran by Terry Jones and his mock trial.

It seems that the western press has been very reluctant to criticise the mobs despicable actions and instead the criticism has been mostly directed at Terry Jones and Bill Maher rightly picked up on this during his show.

Personally I think all religion is mumbo jumbo that should have been left at the roadside during the supposed “Age of Reason” but we are unfortunatley engaged in wars across the world with people who are still living in similar conditions to 17th century London and who are as reasonable as any religious fundementalist whether they be Islamic, Christian or Jewish.

When Protestants can murder Catholics for hundreds of years and Shi’ites can do the same with Sunni’s all over small variations of what is basically the same fairy tale then what hope has mankind got of seeing through the next hundred years without another few million people being killed all in the name of God.

This is what Bill Maher said:

“All this talk about the people who burned the Koran and nothing about the people who reacted in such a stupid way. We’re always blaming the victim and not holding, not most Muslims, but at least a large part of the Muslim community that doesn’t condemn their people.”

“What it comes down to is that there is one religion in the world that kills you when you disagree with them. They say, ‘Look, we’re a religion of peace and if you disagree we’ll cut your fucking head off. And nobody calls them on it, or there are very few people who call them on it. You know, it’s like if dad is a violent drunk and beats his kids. You don’t blame the kid because he set dad off. You blame dad because he’s a violent drunk.”
