Why Was Russell Brand attacked for linking British Foreign Policy to Terrorism?

www.darkpolitricks.com

By Dark Politricks

Whilst I have the utmost respect for all the British and other victims of the Terrorist attack in Tunisia last week, I think the attack on Russell Brands podcast on today’s minute of silence as “Total Bullshit”, was a “Total Smokescreen” when you really listen to what he said.

If you forget the maybe crass way he says it and actually listen to what he says later on, he makes many good points about British Foreign Policy and how it has contributed to the rise of ISIS in the first place.

As David Cameron discusses extending his bombing campaign on ISIS from just Iraq to targets over the border in Syria we must remember the simple fact that no war has ever been won by just bombing from the air.

If we want to create more terrorists then yes, the plan will work. Bombs are indiscriminate no matter how much the Government and Armed Forces tell you otherwise.

We didn’t win the war in Libya from our bombing campaign. It was the rebels on the ground that took advantage of our air support to defeat Gaddafi and turn Libya into the civil war mess it now is.

Libya is now  place where the “official government” has to meet on a ship at sea to protect it from attack.

Where thousands of people every day try to escape its shores by paying criminals to take them in dangerous boats to Europe, and where we wash our hands of them.

Risking death in the Mediterranean
Libyan refugees risk death to flee their war-torn country
Libya's people smugglers
People smugglers take advantage of desperate people in the Mediterranean

Doesn’t seem fair does it?

We destroy what once one of the most prosperous countries in Africa because we decided to support one side in a civil war after years of supporting al-Qaeda linked, anti Gaddafi terrorists, before making up with Gaddafi at Blairs famous meeting with the Colonel in the desert.

This was when normal relations resumed e.g arms sales in return for the Lockerbie suspects being handed over to face trial in Scotland and our oil companies being able to milk the countries reserves.

Then we decided to turn about-face, despite Gaddafi helping the CIA/MI6 with their black site torture prisons, and take him out of the picture.

Maybe he was just too much of a threat having talked about an African union, no central bank control and a shared Gold backed currency for the region.

Did you know that when Colonel Gaddafi took over Libya in 1967 it was one of the poorest nations in Africa but by the time he was killed by NATO and it’s goons on the ground, Gaddafi had turned Libya into Africa’s wealthiest nation.

It had the highest life expectancy and GDP per capita on the continent. I bet you didn’t even realise that fewer people lived below the poverty line in Libya than in the Netherlands!

People in pre NATO Libya could count on free education, free health care, a free home upon getting married, oil being shared out amongst the people and no central bank run by the same bankster cartel we all know and love.

Gaddafi even wanted to unite Africa under a single currency, a bit like the Euro, except it would be backed by Gold and therefore worth the paper it was written on.

We all know what happened to the last 3 US Presidents who tried going against the Banksters and their central banks, the same fate fell Gaddafi as did JFK. Was this a coincidence or just bad luck?

Whatever the reason was, Libya fell apart was due to NATO suddenly going from an ally in the fight against the war on terror – even sending Gitmo destined prisoners there to be tortured, to a terrorist backer. They provided the air cover and bombs that destroyed Libyan infrastructure before allowing their NATO armed terrorists on the ground to put a bullet in his head.

The country is now a mess and not a good advert for British intervention. The fact we are now trying to wash our hands of the mess we have caused by preventing refugees from Libya reaching Britain doesn’t exactly say much about our leaders humanitarian nature.

British victims arrive back in Britian
A victim of the Tunisian beach attack is flown home today to RAF Brize Norton

So what about the ISIS terrorist who killed British terrorists?

Seifeddine Rezgui
Seifeddine Rezgui posing with weapons for ISIS

Yes of course it was a horrible disgusting evil act when an ISIS inspired student gunman, Seifeddine Rezgui, took it upon himself to kill 38 people in Tunisia including 30 British tourists.

This was a student who received military training in the war-torn country we helped to destroy, Libya, before taking it upon himself to kill and maim dozens of British and other Europeans on the beach of a holiday resort during the supposedly peaceful Islamic holiday of Ramadan.

ISIS has taken over from al-Qaeda as the big bogey man we should all be looking under our beds each night.

Islamic State are the most well-funded, well-equipped terrorist force on the planet and as their name states, Islamic State, they DO actually have a constantly expanding border that ignores previous Middle Eastern lines that were drawn across the borders of Iraq and Syria.

So while David Cameron puts forward plans to bomb Syria, and the Tories line up legislation to remove more of our civil rights, I bet that a huge proportion of Daily Mail readers will support such “Thought Police” laws and be all too willing to denounce any opponents as domestic extremists.

So with all these new laws and previous military action carried out in the region w e should really ask the question that no Tory/Labour politician seems to want to answer – have we helped create this monster?

Whilst they may claim otherwise the answer is YES.

Yes Islamic terrorist acts occurred before 9.11 but they were mainly all due to the never-ending issue of Israel / Palestine.

If only the USA could pull its finger out its ass, stop AIPAC owned Congressmen from railroading any attempt at a fair solution and put pressure on Israel to come to a negotiated settlement that doesn’t humiliate the Palestinians and adheres to International Law.

This form of law is supposed to be respected by all countries, and it was mainly created after World War II to punish the Germans for their treatment of the Jews, plus their illegal wars. Remember after Nuremberg it was decreed that the worst crime a state could commit was a war of aggression (a pre-emptive war you could say).

Yet how many pre-emptive wars have the Axis of War started since then?

Just in the last few decades (the Taliban did not commit 9.11 no matter how far you stretch the official story), and not to mention all the other underhand wars by proxy or through the use of false flag attacks to give cover such as Vietnam in earlier years.

Don’t you think it hypocritical that the Jewish People, who through their Nuremberg judges had many Nazis and Germans put to death for “following orders” but are now killing Palestinians en mass whenever they invade Gaza (as even the Zionist Judge Goldstone reported on).

Plus the US seems fine about opting out of the International Criminal Court and allowing its own soldiers to commit acts of torture on command, sometimes as MI5/MI6 officers stand around watching, as British citizens are beaten and tortured by their CIA counterparts for refusing to answer the British Security Forces questions.

To say our foreign policy has no part to play in the radicalization of a large number of disaffected Muslims is to ignore a major component in solving the problem. Does our government really just think these people kill us for no other reason than they “hate our dwindling freedoms” or that they just want to reach paradise?

If it’s our freedoms they hate then that argument will soon no longer exist as we seem to be very busy handing them over on a plate. In the not too distant future even this bogus reason drummed out by FOX and other mainstream media companies won’t be valid.

From our rights to protest, to our right to surf the Internet in peace without being monitored and logged to our right to free speech, our civil liberties are being demolished chunk by chunk.

If the Tories get their way we could all be labelled domestic extremists if you dare speak your mind and it doesn’t fit with the Government line on a subject. Want to talk to your girlfriend in peace without anyone spying in on your saucy chat by using an encrypted chat service, well you must have something to hide under new plans by the Conservative government. Only terrorists use encryption don’t you know?

As Russell Brand says in his podcast the minute silence held on Friday was a way for the Government to act as if it cared about the dead holiday makers whilst it continued to carry on selling arms to some of the most despotic regimes in the world.

Not only are we selling arms to Bahrain and Egypt, two countries who have recently cracked down on its own people, killing many and repealing the rights of millions, but we are selling billions of weapons to one of the cruelest countries on the face of the planet – Saudi Arabia.

This is a country who is engaged in a massive bombing campaign in Yemen, killing innocent civilians, using banned weapons and with hardly a whisper being mentioned about the slaughter in the mainstream news.

Why is it this Islamic State is being helped by the British whilst we are supposedly fighting another Islamic State in Iraq/Syria?

David Cameron was criticised the other day for not calling Islamic State just that, saying it was not truly Islamic and not a state. From where I am looking it seems to fit the bill perfectly. They adhere to strict Islamic law, just like Saudi Arabia and the Islamic courts in Iran and they seem to have their own state, one that issues its own gold based currency, sells oil to Syria and Turkey and is well-funded and armed.

As for fighting it, are really doing all we can or do we like the fact that a huge terrorist organisation is there to scare the masses and keep the military industrial complexes coffers full?

There have been many reports of British and US planes caught dropping Israeli and US/UK weapons to the very army we are supposed to be fighting. This is from a report in an Australian newspaper in February 2015.

Iraq’s army has shot down two British planes carrying weapons for ISIL terrorists in Iraq’s Al Anbar province.

Hakem al-Zameli, head of the Iraqi Parliament’s National Security and Defence Committee revealed that the committee “has access to the photos of both planes that are British and have crashed while they were carrying weapons for the ISIL,” FARS News reported. The senior lawmaker said that the Iraqi parliament has asked London for explanations and added it is receiving daily reports from security forces and people in the province on countless flights led by the U.S.-led coalition’s planes, which airdrop weapons and supplies for the group in terrorist-held areas.

The Iraqi lawmaker explained that the United States prefers the chaotic situation in the province because it reportedly does not want the ISIL crisis to come to an end. The al-Ahed news website quoted Khalaf Tarmouz, head of Al Anbar Provincial Council saying that they have “discovered weapons made in the United States, European countries and Israel from the areas liberated from ISIL’s control in Al-Baqdadi region.” Mr Tarmouz added that the weapons made by European nations and Israel was discovered from the terrorists in the Eastern parts of Ramadi.

Apart from our lacklustre or duplicitous fight against ISIS in one region we are also busy arming some of the most human right abusing nations on the face of the earth. In fact from our own list of 28 potential human rights abusing countries, we are currently selling arms to 23 of them!

How is that for hypocrisy?

Does this list of human rights abuses mean anything as it sure doesn’t look that way.

If we wanted to try to repeal the tide of Islamic extremism in the world and take our holiday makers faces out of the firing line then maybe we should be strictly adhering to lists such as these and banning companies such as BAE from selling weapons to countries who publicly whip and jail women who have been gang raped purely because they left the house by themselves. A medieval country that is no better in my eyes than the Islamic State to the North.

Maybe we should be a voice for reason and legality by not being scared of the USA or Israel and their lobby groups and say loudly that:

a) Israel is a war criminal when it slaughters children and women in the street when it attacks Gaza en mass after it feebly retaliated for the slaughter of its own citizens. It always seems to be the Palestinians fault but you only need look a few days ahead before finding some Israeli crime that was the instigator of any firecracker launched against Israel’s “Iron Dome”.

b) We should say that the USA is not the bastion of freedom and democracy that it pretends to be and that it’s new “laws of war” that have legitimised the killing of journalists as “unprivileged belligerents” is unacceptable along with the killing of retreating troops.

We should also try to revert the tide of war by using some logic for once and realise that our foreign policy IS a major contributor to many people’s radicalization that leads them into the hands of extremist groups.

  1. We need to do all we can to resolve the Israeli / Palestinian conflict. Recognise Palestine as a country in the UN and give it the ability to take Israel to court for crimes it has committed. Force Israel to define its borders, return the illegal settlers to within Israeli borders as defined by the UN decades ago, stop the blockade on Gaza and attack all (recent and previous), hijackings of aid flotillas as Piracy on the high seas. Tony Blair was a Zionist stooge who cared little about peace and more about making money as Official Middle Eastern Peace Envoy. We need to get Israel to play in the same legal framework as other countries that we are expecting to such as Iran who we are expecting to bend over backwards to prove they have no nuclear ambitions without a bomb in sight, whilst Israel is sitting on a stockpile of at least 200 war heads and is not even a member of the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty. Hypocrisy!
  2. We should realise that we have caused more extremism than if we had just left well alone in Iraq. Saddam Hussein may have been a horrible dictator but at least the 3 countries we cobbled together with the French after World War I stuck together without infighting. It seems cruel to say but if the Arab Spring has shown us something it is that if we remove the Western backed dictators that were ruling these countries that seem to fall apart into civil war and ethnic strife pretty quickly. We had no reason to go to war with Iraq our ex ally apart from the fact Tony Blair promised to George W (I speak to God) Bush that he would. What happened, Iran has taken control of the Shia’s in the South, the Kurds have basically created their own country to the north and the Sunnis have created the beast of ISIS in the rest of the country. Splitting the country into three parts on ethnic lines seems the logical way forward if we don’t want ISIS to take all before it.
  3. We should admit that supporting “moderate” groups fighting Assad in Syria, like the Free Syrian Army, was a mistake. These groups are now ISIS controlled and there even been instances of western air drops of supplies falling into ISIS held locations and UK planes being shot down by Iraqi defence forces for seemingly dropping supplies to Islamic State deliberately. The FSA has been found to have sold kidnapped journalists to ISIS who were then beheaded as well as committing despicable acts of its own such as the famous video of a FSA solider ripping the heart and lungs out of a dead Syrian solider and eating them on tape. There are NO moderates to support and if we want to defeat ISIS we should be willing to admit that the only real forces on the ground willing to do the fighting for us are the Syrian Army, The Kurds and the Iranians who have been the only forces along with Shia militias preventing the US trained Iraqi forces from turning tail and running away like they have done on numerous occasions even when outnumbering their enemy. We should forget past and current issues and support Iran and Syria in their fight against ISIS as surely they are the lesser of two evils?
  4. We should ask WHY is it that Israel feels no threat from ISIS on their doorstep. When every other Islamic terrorist group in history has labelled the Israeli conflict as the major point of grievance, ISIS has been very quiet on the matter. You would think Israel who is always going on about how they are fighting for their very existence in the region, would be scared shitless of such a well-funded and armed group on their borders. Instead they are more worried about firecrackers from Gaza than the tens of thousands of well equipped Islamic nutters on their flank. Could it be down to the fact they are arming them in a divide and conquer tactic? Iraq and Syria’s armies are no more and the Greater Israel project could be back on seeing they have no fixed borders. Do they see this as a chance to expand or are they not scared for some other reason. Why is it ISIS are not even considering attacking Israel when any Islamic terrorist group worth its name with as much weaponry and money as they have would have them as their number one target?

If British foreign policy is truly a force for democracy then why does the UK sell arms to repressive states?

The hypocrisy of only caring about “our” own victims

The hypocrisy of only caring about “our” own victims

By Dark Politricks

First off I would like to wish you all a Happy Christmas and I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog as much as I have enjoyed writing for it.

However not everyone today will be celebrating a happy Christmas. Not after the recent massacre in America, the terrible wars around the Middle East and the people dying at the hands of our military industrial complex.

After the Sandy Hook School Massacre America the rest of the western world, and probably much of the world we are not busy bombing and killing children in, cried for the victims if they heard about it in the news.

20 innocent children dead and 6 adults. What is not to be sad about there.

Now I am not looking at the causes of the massacre, the psychotic drugs, the availability of guns, the debate about  gun control or anything to do with the ease that someone can walk into a school and kill so many people – so quickly.

What I want to do is compare is the way we mourn and send out condolences and our best wishes to the victims of families in our own country to how we treat the child victims of our never ending war of terror i.e the US drone strikes that happen across the world on an almost daily basis.

From Pakistan to Yemen, from Somalia to Afghanistan the USA is killing 49 innocent people for every 1 “bad guy” with the use of their drones.

Because of the lack of mainstream media coverage, and the constant propaganda that these drone strikes are “surgical” and any civilian deaths are justified “collateral damage”, we don’t get to see the same close up personal tragedy and family stories of the victims as we do when it’s our own children being shot dead.

We don’t see the dead bodies involved in the drone strikes, the families grieving, the tears and all the outrage that must be felt by the victims families who had done nothing wrong except be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I spoke about the indoctrination we are all being fed the other day. In my eyes there is no worse form of indoctrination than that which conditions the new generation of soldiers – the Predator drone fliers. Brought up on a diet of PlayStation games that make them see shooting dozens of people dead as “fun” and “playful”.

These game playing kids then go and work for the US military and sit behind screens in Las Vegas before killing people halfway across the world using similar controllers to the PlayStation’s that they are so used to.

Maybe there was some psychology doctor that helped design the controllers thinking that the sub-conscious link the flier had between the job and the games they were so used to would make it “easier” to kill real life pixels as opposed to fake ones. Maybe it helped them relate their job to the “fun” they had playing “shoot the bad guy” at home.

“We modeled the controller after the PlayStation because that’s what these eighteen-, nineteen-year-old Marines have been playing with pretty much all of their lives.” – Unnamed military robotics researcher (source: Wired for War)

When FOX News and all the rest of the war machine propaganda tells you that we “don’t kill kids” or that our drone strikes are very surgical and that we avoid the deaths of innocent people whenever possible they ARE LYING TO YOU!

This is an excerpt from a report about drone strikes that was reported by the German paper Der Spiegel and is mentioned in the video. It tells the story of how drone fliers in Las Vegas killed a child and when they started to question their actions they were told the victim was not a child but a dog – a two legged one at that. A conscience must be a hard thing to have working with drones.

A drone flier described a drone strike in the following words:

“Bryant and his coworkers sat in front of  14 computer monitors and four keyboards. When Byrant pressed a button in New Mexico, someone died on the other side of the world. He remembers once incident very clearly when a Predator drone was circling in a figure-eight pattern in the sky above Afghanistan …. with seven seconds left to  go, there was no-one to be seen on the ground. Bryant could still have diverted the missile at that point. Then it was down to three seconds. Bryant felt as if he had to count each individual pixel on the monitor. Suddenly a child walked around the corner, he says.

Second zero was the the moment in which Bryant’s digital world collided with the real one in a village between Baghlan and Mazar-e-Sharif. Byrant saw a flash on the screen: the explosion. Parts of the building collapsed. The child had disappeared. Bryant had a sick feeling in his stomach.

“Did we just kill a kid?” he asked the man sitting next to him.

“Yeah I guess that was a kid”, the pilot replied

“Was that a kid” they wrote in the chat window on the monitor,

Then someone they didn’t know answered, someone sitting in a military command center somewhere in the world who had observed the attack. “No that was a dog” the person wrote.

They reviewed the scene on a video. A dog on two legs?” – Der Spiegel

Watch this report by The Young Turks on the war we are fighting with drones.

However it doesn’t really matter in the US Defense Department’s eyes whether it was a kid or not as long as he was over 8 years old as they have classified any male over the age of 8 as an enemy combatant until proven otherwise.

That means they can kill 8 year old boys and say they were terrorists unless their family make it all the way to a US embassy or military headquarters to prove otherwise – not very likely is it. No wonder they say their strike rates are so accurate when kids are legitimate targets.

What also riles me about the drone strikes is the lack of real reporting on the ground. If there were actual real reporters doing their job rather than sucking off heads of departments then maybe the people at home might know what is being done in their name.

Instead all we hear is how great the drones are. We never get to see the bodies and the grieving families like we do after a US school massacre. However the kids ages are the same, the names may be different but they are still someone’s child.

One Yemeni reporter who tried reporting on the actual real nature of the casualties after a drone strike was sent to prison afterwards for trying to tell the truth.

When the new President came in there was hope he was going to be released as the public were outraged that he was imprisoned for telling the true story of how drone strikes ruin peoples lives.

What stopped him from being released?

A phone call from President Obama.

He told the Yemeni President, or more likely blackmailed him with increased aid budget dollars fresh of the printing presses, to keep him in prison as he was a “terrorist”.

He didn’t want real reports of the deaths and mayhem caused by the US’s war of terror being told to people. No he preferred the propaganda and spin that everything was rosy and bright and the drone strikes shot sunbeams and flowers on the innocent whilst only killing those evil CIA linked al-Qaeda terrorists.

Yes that is your President America – someone who would rather a reporter who tries to tell the truth about your drone strike war rots in prison than have any real reporting of the casualties get out and be read by the American public.

And if you are sitting there thinking I don’t really care OR they are all Muslims and terrorists – it doesn’t matter if children and women get killed in the process. Then I ask you this:

Do you call yourself a Christian?

Are you celebrating Christmas today?

And if the answer is yes then ask yourself – would Jesus discriminate between the deaths of children in Pakistan or Yemen and those in America?

Are not all innocent deaths equally sad and tragic?

Would Jesus only be crying over the deaths in a US school or would he see all child murders the same?

Is God as hypocritical and biased as some in the US Government are?

And if you are not a Christian then just be aware that these amazing drones are coming home to you. In fact they are already patrolling your skies.

How long will it be until police forces that are already planning to fly drones in the skies above your houses like those in Seattle or the Montgomery County Police Department who has just purchased a $300,000 Vanguard Shadowhawk drone with a grant provided by the Department of Homeland Security start to use deadly weapons on them instead of just cameras?

This Vanguard Shadowhawk drone has the capability to shoot tear gas and rubber bullets, as well as “taser projectiles.”  How long before it is fitted with automatic machine guns and other deadly weapons.

As the ACLU Website says:

U.S. law enforcement is greatly expanding its use of domestic drones for surveillance. Routine aerial surveillance would profoundly change the character of public life in America. Rules must be put in place to ensure that we can enjoy the benefits of this new technology without bringing us closer to a “surveillance society” in which our every move is monitored, tracked, recorded, and scrutinized by the government. Drone manufacturers are also considering offering police the option of arming these remote-controlled aircraft with (nonlethal for now) weapons like rubber bullets, Tasers, and tear gas.

And a recent article entitled the coming drone attack on America explains how the US Government has recently allowed for the expansion of drones after a massive lobbying effort by the military industrial complex to use this drone technology at home.  I wonder how many Congressmen they really do have in their pockets?

“In February of this year, Congress passed the FAA Reauthorization Act, with its provision to deploy fleets of drones domestically. Jennifer Lynch, an attorney at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, notes that this followed a major lobbying effort, “a huge push by […] the defense sector” to promote the use of drones in American skies: 30,000 of them are expected to be in use by 2020, some as small as hummingbirds – meaning that you won’t necessarily see them, tracking your meeting with your fellow-activists, with your accountant or your congressman, or filming your cruising the bars or your assignation with your lover, as its video-gathering whirs.” – The coming drone attack on America

Therefore if you are dismissive of foreign drone attacks killing innocent people then what will you think when the LAPD or NYPD start killing, tasering or firing rubber bullets into crowds of protesters or kill the wrong person due to bad decision making.

With all the corporations and banks considering buying their own drones, who will know for sure that a drone that fired a lethal shot at an Occupy protester was owned by a police force or a bank just trying to rid it’s path protesters?

And if you don’t worry about the government spying on you as you are in the “nothing to hide, nothing to fear brigade” then just think how easy it is for a terrorist living down your street to build a drone out of a remote control helicopter or plane and add a basic payload system to it.

Don’t believe me – watch this video and be afraid, be very afraid!

Then ask yourself why you don’t care as much about all the innocent deaths across the world caused by the US military killing 8 year old “enemy combatants” as you do with school children killed by your brilliant health system and your 2nd amendment gun rights.

Is it because you are hypocritical or is it because you just don’t care about the drones coming back home to spy and attack US citizens?

New massacre by the Syrian rebels won’t stop Cameron pressuring Putin to go to war to help them other-throw Assad

August 3, 2012

By Dark Politricks

A new video released by Syrian rebels fighting President Assad in Syria apparently showing them shooting captured troops loyal to President Assad has not been mentioned in the western media but the western TV stations love to parrot the line whenever the shoe is on the other foot.

You can find some of the video on the Guardian one of the few papers that has some modicum of balance even though it is definitely not independent in any way it is mostly anti-war in its articles.

The text above the video goes:

“Amateur footage purports to show pro-Assad militia captured by rebels, who are seen collecting their dead as fierce clashes continue in Aleppo. Government forces continue to shell Syria‘s largest city, including the rebel stronghold of Salaheddin. The Turkish prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and US defence secretary, Leon Panetta, say time is running out for Syrian president Bashar al-Assad”

Not exactly singing the same sort of tune as the “town about to be massacred” and “Assad troops massacre civilians and rebels” etc that has been covering the media over the weeks including by the same Guardian paper trying to give some form of balance however small to both sides of this civil war in Syria.

You can find more balanced views (in that I mean a view opposing the western one so that you can make your own mind up) on rt.com or Russia Today. Yes the same international TV station that is attacked by Hillary Clinton, Western news pundits and others for its “pro-Kremlin” views, a KGB front and so on.

The video and article they show is show here: http://www.rt.com/news/syria-rebel-massacre-aleppo-627/

This article has more than a slightly different slant on matters than the Guardian one which goes to show how one journalist’s writing can turn A into B and people who only read from one news source will undoubtedly get a skewed outlook on matters.

Now I would never advise anyone to get their news only from one source but you should never, never just believe what you are told by the Western media who are mostly owned and controlled by the same few rich families and organisations. Editorial control they call it, a reason given by Julian Assange when he fell out with the Guardian when they refused to show certain documents, videos from his #cablegate release. The same one that might see him end up in an orange jumpsuit in the USA.

Why the Swedish police cannot just interview him over the phone or in the Ecuadorian embassy I don’t know! But he hasn’t even been charged with a crime.

Supposedly they only want to talk to him about about certain crimes that can only be described as “unusual” and involve two girls who were WikiLeak “fans” or “benefactors” who obviously had a crush on him having sex with him on consecutive nights.

They found out about the other girl and as some may say – “Hell has no fury like a woman  scorned” they both went to the police and accused Julian of having sex with him without wearing a condom! Now I don’t know how this is a crime as they obviously let him do it otherwise it would be rape or sexual assault but nonetheless the Swedes want him in their country for interviewing.

At the moment he is in the Ecuadorian embassy in London waiting for the Ecuadorian’s to make their mind up about asylum whilst I guess the Americans threaten that country with everything under the sun but it all seems like madness to me. If you could be arrested and locked up for having sex without a condom then how many men out there would be in prison right now?

Anyway back to the point – get your news from opposing points of view and then make your own mind up.

Do not believe everything your told whatever channel it comes from!

Russia Today may be the spawn of the KGB and Kremlin propaganda in some peoples eyes but it most definitely gives a voice to those people the western media overlook. Remember this is the channel that gave Julian Assange his own “The World Tomorrow” interview show to talk to people the western news channels wouldn’t dare interview.

If I want news or details of political crimes and Russian mafia like governance then I wouldn’t expect Russia Today to give it to me and in the same way you shouldn’t expect your own countries news channels to attack their own country in the same way.

However Russia Today allows rebels, dissidents, people considered “unpatriotic” and all the other bullshit names FOX and other channels throw about in the USA to appear on their channels frequently. Everybody from members of Anonymous, WikiLeaks to Alex Jones, Glenn Greenwald and Norman Finkelstein at the very least. People the western shows stay away from like a turd on a stick.

So when you hear about Assad and the next town about to be massacred just remember that war crimes are being committed and admitted by the UN Human Rights council by both sides in this civil war.

Only last week the Free Syrian Army committed massive attacks in the capital that killed numerous civilians as well as the Syrian Defence Minister.

UN human rights chief Navi Pillay said last week:

“Pillay cited unconfirmed reports of atrocities including executions and shooting of civilians by snipers during recent fighting in the Syrian capital Damascus. Her office had also been receiving an increasing number of reports of opposition fighters torturing or executing prisoners, and reports that unarmed prisoners had been killed in the central prisons of Aleppo and Homs during uprisings in the past week, in violation of international law. “

This is a civil war and should be left as such without all the arming and funding by Saudia Arabia and Qatar with help from US/UK/French war mongerers who don’t seem to learn anything. Especially that if you put religious fanatics into power including your supposed “mortal enemy” you end up with Libya.

A country run by ex LIFG / al-Qaeda members, rebel armies controlling towns and summary executions of people with links to Gadaffi or black skin.

Just remember what happened when the CIA helped create al-Qaeda in their fight against the Soviets in Afghanistan. Blowback and bombings and then 9.11.

Syria and Libya are a lot closer to home than “the Stan” and before “our help” their leaders, as crazy and despotic as they may seem to us, were also were a lot nicer than our “ally” Saudi Arabia a medieval country run under ancient barbaric laws with no respect for human rights and women.

If foreign policy was logical this would have been the target of any post-9.11 attack due to the number of hijackers that were Saudi Arabian and all the funding of terror groups it does regularly – but then they supply us oil and Bush’s family have a “close” relationship with the House of Saud.

But then when has western foreign policy ever been logical and when does the enemy of our enemy stay our enemy and not our friend?

Compare our Western hypocrisy with the Syrian Massacres being reported on in Tremseh

July 15, 2012

By Dark Politricks

Compare and contrast the coverage given by the Western media to the conflicts in Syria and Afghanistan.

This morning on the BBC News channel they are reporting again that the Syrian Army – loyal to President Assad has been bombarding the homes of rebel fighters including those of the free Syrian Army and other insurgents in Tremseh.

Whilst their internet coverage is a little more even handed it still leans towards the US position of a massacre and the US government is parroting Syrian rebel reports that around 220 people were massacred labeling Syria‘s leaders murderers even though other western media is even reporting the attack as a “lopsided” attack by the army against the home of insurgents and what would we would call terrorists if they lived in Gaza, Iran or Afghanistan.

A statement by the U.N. mission who have returned to Tremseh today said:

“The attack on Tremseh appeared targeted at specific groups and houses, mainly of army defectors and activists,” the spokesman for the U.N. observer mission to Syria said in an emailed statement.

“A wide range of weapons were used, including artillery, mortars and small arms.”

Opposition activists say government forces killed about 220 people in the village. U.N. observers said they had found a burned school and fire-damaged houses.

The state media in the UK (and I haven’t seen US coverage but I guess it’s the same) are reporting this attack in Tremseh as if the word of opposition fighters was God and as if the Assad regime was bombing the homes of innocent people and killing them for fun.

Lest no-one think I support President Assad I don’t.

I don’t support any dictator unlike the USA/UK/French axis of war that seem to pick and chose their fights not on “human rights” as they like to sell it to the dumbed down public but whether or not the dictator is “their man” or “helpful” to their foreign policy objectives.

If the Axis of war had a fair and balanced foreign policy they would be attacking Israel, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia for their human rights abuses and attacks on protesters in the same manner as they have attacked Libya, forced an army coup in Egypt and are carefully planning for war with Iran by funding, aiding and training the rebels that are fighting the Assad regime. All roads lead to Iran as awakened people say at the moment.

The hypocrisy of our mainstream news coverage is that if Assad were “our man” like Saddam Hussein was in the 80’s before we turned on him and bin Laden was in the Soviet war in Afghanistan then there wouldn’t be so much news coverage of these attacks in Syria.

However unlike Afghanistan in which another insurgency is going on – one in which we are fighting not supporting. Where segments of the population in Afghanistan e.g the Taliban have decided to fight against the US/UK occupation, the corrupt puppet leader they installed to rule over them e.g the major of Kabul Hamid Karzai.

This is the US installed leader who has helped increase the amount of opium produced from almost zero in 2000 when the Taliban last ruled the country to the massive amounts produced now.

The Taliban admittedly ruled the country brutally in Western eyes, but in the eyes of a lot of Afghans they brought law and order after a time of unruliness. They actually punished corruption and other criminal acts (admittedly brutally in our standards) that are carrying on unabated under the US/Karzai rule.

Plus they almost wiped out the lucrative drug production calling it Un-Islamic as you can see by the chart above where the amount of opium dropped when they were in power. For reasons why drug production seems to increase whenever there is war and instability please read the four part series on my site titled “CIA Involvement in Drug Smuggling Parts 1 to 4”.

The main contradiction between our coverage of the Syrian civil war and other news channels that don’t have a western bias like Russia Today or Press TV is that when the US attack the homes of insurgents with drones and missile attacks in Afghanistan and innocent children, women and non combatants are killed they are considered legitimate and just casualties of war – or “collateral damage” as we like to call it. Often this massacre of innocents  is somehow covered up or ignored by our media.

However in Syria where Assad is fighting an influx of Western and Saudi backed terrorists, insurgents, the Free Syrian Army and of course al-Qaeda (why are again fighting on the same side as our mortal enemy again?) these collateral damages are called massacres and the western TV media laps up the stories of unverifiable bloggers and citizens as if they were truth itself.

So lets compare the two wars we are involved in the link being al-Qaeda e.g in Afghanistan we are supposedly fighting them whilst in Syria we are fighting alongside them – or arming, training and supporting them as we did in Libya.

  • We have two countries Syria and Afghanistan both fighting an insurgency against the ruling power.
  • Both insurgencies contain members of the general population as well as foreign terrorists and members of al-Qaeda.
  • One insurgency the West supports, the other it is fighting.
  • One government fighting the insurgency is considered a corrupt puppet with links to drug dealing brothers and other corrupt behaviour, the other is a dictator who is on the path to reform (admittedly slowly – who was praised in Western media not too long ago)
  • When innocent people are killed in one country they are called collateral damage or not reported on at all in the other it is called a massacre and the mainstream media goes crazy over it.
  • When terrorists and insurgents are killed by drones or night raids by special forces in one country their deaths are acclaimed as a success for the anti-government forces, whereas the deaths of insurgents in the other are reported as assassinations and targeted killings in the UN.

I am sure you can work out which is which.

Therefore the question is how far does our hypocrisy go and will you get your news from the tools of Western imperialism or try and get a balanced view on the subject first.

As expected the neo-cons are already defending the massacre of civilians

April 6, 2010

I expect nothing less from those who see war in gold tinted lenses and who wish for nothing less than for the US military to conquer the whole of the Middle East either for the glory of the homeland, to help hasten the return of Jesus or to keep their Israeli controllers happy. However its still quite sickening to watch the neo-cons come out and attack WikiLeaks for showing the video of the US troops massacring civilians, reporters and young girls as “evil” as the writer of the following blog post writes:

A crowd of men surround at least two armed insurgents. The voices indicate that a Bradley and some Humvees are headed in the direction and that a recent engagement has taken place.

So, the helicopter pilot and ground controllers see armed men with a convoy approaching and taking fire and …. Wiki Leak has the nerve to call this murder?

They’ve even embedded it on a site they call “Collateral Murder.”

These people are beyond stupid, they’re evil.

Worst case scenario this is a few innocent being accidentally killed in the fog of war.

The writer a Mr Rusty Shackleford phd, who must have got his doctorate at the university of psychopathic tendencies, obviously believes that the playstation-esque massacre of a group of men who were posing no threat whatsoever to the helicopter, which can clearly be seen in the video, is well within the rules of combat.

He also sees nothing wrong with the worst part of the event by far which was when an ambulance arrives to help the sole remaining survivor of the first attack.

This is a man who is barely alive and poses no threat to anyone due to the numerous bullets already riddling his body and who is slowly dying and barely crawling along the ground trying to get to safety.

The van arrives and two men get out and try to help the injured reporter by carrying him to what they perceive to be safety i.e the back of the vehicle. All the while the blood thirsty pilots in the helicopter are itching to be given another order to fire and you can hear one pilot just begging for the near dead sole survivor to “just pick up a weapon” so that they could shoot again without requiring a further order.

When the order to fire does come from some far away camp, given by a soldier who could not know the true nature of the situation, the pilots almost come in their pants at the opportunity to once again open fire on far away figures as if it was an arcade game they were playing with their friends. The circle the building and open fire killing the remaining survivor and his two helpers as well as injuring a young girl who is in the ambulance.

Rusty obviously believes this act was well within the call of duty and a task befitting for heroes and he has no time for those who dare help their fellow injured man saying that they deserve to die.

As for those who went in to pick up the bodies? Perhaps they were innocents. I’ve no idea.

But you drive your van into an active military engagement? What the hell were you thinking?

You are stupid. Innocent, but stupid. You’re asking to be killed.

I thought the initial video was enough to ruin my day but reading what some pro-war commentators think about this act is even worse. Some people have no shame.

If you haven’t seen the massacre video yet then I suggest you hold your stomach and watch it now and then forward it on to everyone you know.
